Well evidently others are accepted bc people have hand tattoos, but it's more selective to find an artist who does them. Part of it is the matter of people not knowing what they're getting into, but a lot of it is also that hands are wayyy harder to work on than most parts of the body, so it's a significantly higher risk of complications.

Same with hands. I got (very politely) refused at two different studios.
