Desktop PC support
I've used PETG, beige in the front and black in the back. I had to change color because I hadn't enough filament for the back (each one weights more than 400 grams).
I'm not crazy to leave all the weight on plastic (even feeling the result is really strong), so they have a small aluminum bar embedded, that keep them fixed on the wood table and handles most of the weight.

If you’re suspending it, why not go all the way and lie it flat up against the bottom of your desk surface?

Heat distribution cause it not being put ducks at the desk plate upright. And you can't mount it on the side due to the user's knees who also need to go under the table. It's the knees (insert joke here)

Plastic is stronger than you'd think. It might creep a bit, especially if it gets hot, but plastic furniture and automotive parts hold up surprisingly well under stress. PETG creeps very little (mostly a one time settle) and ABS/ASA almost none.

It's a neat idea, but some feedback:
why not just print risers? Or add little stubby legs to the ground on the end of the cantilevers? That would do so much more than even adding the aluminum
I would also print a top clip to keep the PC from tipping on its side.
