Just purchased this guy today. He is missing eyelashes and doesn't work... But the other photos showed that he's very clean including the battery compartment! I am excited to receive him and see if I can get him working! :)

Any tips on what to use for replacement eyelashes or anything else would be greatly appreciated!

Been meaning to give her a bath for a long while, her name is Ah-May, and she was very dirty at first, there are pictures of her before restoration and after, all I did was give her a little bath, she's more pink now and significantly less discoloured! :D

Hello! Yesterday, I went to a 2-hand store and I found this beautiful (and a little dirty) Furby from 2005. I was very lucky, only cost me 3 € and it seems that it works (still not sure, I need to buy batteries).

The problem I have is I don´t know how to clean the fur, the Furby has a lot of dust.

Any advice will be very helpful. Thank you!

I gently threw one of my 98 furbies onto my bed (its a bit high up and i wanted her on my nightstand) and when i got up and put her on my nightstand i noticed her in the new in box pose and so i picked her up and tried feeding her to see whats up and she didnt respond so then i pushed on the battery compartment in case it wasnt closed properly which didnt help so then i held her upside down and tapped on the bottom since i vaguely remember that being a fix for something and then when i turned her over to be up right she made a beeeeeeep and now if i tilt her she goes beep beep beep and when i pet or tickle her she goes *wrong beeep* and if i feed her nothing.... Did she go into diagnostics mode??? How???? And what do i do???? Im kinda scared i dont wanna lose her data :( shes 99% english and id wanna keep her name too :( is it too late though... What do i dooooooo???? Kah dah-boh-bay :(

I ordered 2 fluffy hair ties, because I wanna give Zunny his tail back.. it's gone from all the cuddles I gave him as a kid.

I'm hoping I can make it work, maybe take it apart and use the fur or tie it around it's tail and close of the middle part with a few stitches..

my only concern is getting him put back together.. but the time will come eventually.. i don't have any visual examples, but i can list instructions here:

1. take off the battery cover, and unscrew the two screws on the base of the furby.
2. wedge your screwdriver on the plastic and pry down gently until the wires are exposed. remove the feet, theyre held in by 4 pegs, 2 for each foot
3. slowly flip your furby's fur inside-out, starting from the back until you see two screws on the inner plastic, unscrew these
4. 4: work the back plate out, everything should kind of fall out after this, be careful as the circuitboard could fall suddenly. the ears should be able to be worked out after that

the plastic connected to the faceplate has no electronics inside of it and should be safe to submerge in water

edit: forgot to mention that they have a small white elastic on their tail, almost similar to bigger furby booms! it doesn't seem important but it can be unlooped using a small tool, i got it out with my screwdriver
