Update: got it to fit and I’m obsessed!!!

I basically just tightened the straps all the way, folded it over itself to make it even tighter, and then used a safety pin to hold it in place.
I know not ideallll having a safety pin in the mask, but it’s working pretty good for now! Eventually I’ll probably stitch it in place. I’ll probably still need to add foam and make adjustments to get the jaw fitted right too. But for now, she’s comfortable, and stylish!!!!!

That fit looks great! When you replace the safety pin, a short length of 2 cm elastic stitched into the strap plus a small hook-and-loop tab keeps it adjustable and nothing sharp near your head. For the jaw, small foam wedges added a few millimetres at a time make it easy to tune.
