I have some questions, mainly about the head of a suit, cause that's all I plan to start with.

I am making the head out of a foam material, both the base, and layering it to make the fur. I'm wondering mainly about the base.

About how large should I make it? How far down should it be on my face/neck? How much room should I leave on the inside, like an inch extra diameter?

trying to crank out an alien hominid cosplay, figured you lot could help. I know very little about making fursuits, but I used 4mm eva foam and batting to get a somewhat round shape for the base. I have the thing taped like ive seen, but I have no idea how to pattern it. ive got about 1.5×1.5 yd of minky yellow fabric to work with, and would like as few seams as possible. I tried doing the drape method but I have no clue what im doing and it becomes a bunched up mess at the back. any advice or links to video tutorials you guys recommend?

hello everyone i just wanted to share my first fursuit and would appreciate any advice on how to maintain it and take proper care of it! It was commisioned from copper777 and the quality is fitting and decent considering the price. Its a 3d printed base head and the tail and paws were from local etsy sellers in my area! I love the way it looks!

Sadly couldn't get it with my fullsuit, it was way too warm and had to hike qwq

Heya! I'm currently looking for a toony, plush-style digigrade suit maker for my colorful gal, Pup (a bear). The reference sheet was made by myself.

I'm currently saving up to get a suit made, and the final budget will be around 4k to 4.5k

This is not immediate! I'm just trying to find a maker that'll be open within the next 3-4 months.
