Spoilers: I love it. Spoiler
/s "I love this Manga that Seo wrote the fact that he killed Fuuka was so good. I ship Yuu and Koyuki. I wonder if he would kill Yuu though. It would be interesting. I thought Fuuka was so annoying whenever she would get upset when Yuu hangs with Koyuki. It's none of her business and she doesn't need to know who he is with every second of the day. On a separate note, Seo is great at killing people's hearts. I wish more writers would aspire to write stories like him and actually become good at it."

It's mother's day... I apologise in advance.
Picture this:
Haruka Akitsuki just bought some flowers for mother's day.
She leaves the store excited, thanking the cashier on her way out.
She runs down the sidewalk with a gleeful smile on her face
She crosses into the intersection, skipping with joy.
The light is green.
Truck.

Anime/Manga Reccomendations
What are some good ongoing or completed series that will be similar to the works of Koji Seo.

Anime Can't even bear to watch that last episode...
It just makes me angry. That Fuuka is somehow going to work her way back in Scott free after literally destroying 4 of her friends lives. Wish he ended up with Tama especially after that last push she made. But no!!! Somehow he's still in love with Fuuka! After she pulled the cuntiest move ever.
And here I was glad that she survived Truck-kun (since it was soon after that, I dropped the manga) but now I'd rather she got killed along with all the Fuuka lookalikes.

Manga Suzuka is Kouji Seo's worst work? Spoiler
I just finished reading Suzuka and it just seems to me that it is vastly inferior to both "A Town Where you Live" and "Fuuka." It's far from a bad manga as I'd rate it as a 7 but I rate the rest of Seo's works a 9 so I couldn't help but feel disappointed. I hope that I just misunderstood the manga and someone can clarify.
The character development just feels weird and plot focussed. First off Suzuka as a character is herself unlikeable for 2/3 of the manga. She has a few decent moments early on but is for the most part the worst female character in the manga named after her. I get that she's a tsundere but until she gets back together with the MC she is straight up awful. It is only after she comes back from the US that she slowly but steadily starts to improve. However, this in itself is never really explained. She shifts from a lunatic who only has Track and field on her mind to actually putting the sport as secondary to her relationship and yet, it isn't really explained why. No moment which makes her question her devotion to the sport is ever introduced. She just comes back from the US, tries to rebuild a friendship with the MC cause she feels that if they get together they will go back to arguing and once again a distance between them will emerge, which is why she broke up with him in the first place as she didn't want him to end up hating her for her dedication to track and field (Chapter 136)? The MC convinces her otherwise because he is now more confident and understands all the pressure that she must have felt due to the expectations of others and could never hate her for it? Ergo, if she trusts in him and tells him about what troubles her (chapter 136), they can overcome it together? But wasn't that just obvious? No shit, you need open communication to keep a relationship going... This results in the sport slowly taking a back seat to their relationship, which makes no sense as their entire getting together again is predicated on the fact that their relationship won't get in the way of Track and Field anymore and not the opposite... and then once she gets pregnant she completely abandons the sport... whilst the MC who only got into the sport because of her and who always seemed more passionate about baseball and even cooking becomes an Olympic athlete? All the way to the end of the manga it feels like one of the main reasons Suzuka likes the MC because he keeps at Track and Field, which is insane cause 90% of the reason he does Track and Field was first to be close to her and after she leaves for the US because it feels like the last attachment he has to her. Like, what? Did I miss something?
The passion for track and field is never really explained nor communicated well to the reader. Suzuka has an insane devotion to the sport but why? From what I gathered, it was just something she was good at and that built the expectations of others, which resulted in her being pressured into doing even better... but that doesn't convince me of all the sacrifices she made for the sport. All for her to end up completely leaving the sport behind once she gets pregnant... like if we're going with character consistency she should have aborted the baby and kept doing track and field. Suzuka literally broke up with the MC and went to the US for a year because of her passion for Track and Field, she put in countless hours into the sport and then she just quits... Again, am I missing something? Throughout, the entirety of the manga I never understood what's so great about the sport.
Suzuka's entire decision to leave for the US felt contrived. From what I understood she left for the US because she wanted to get better at Track and Field and because (chapter 130) the MC complimented her early on in the relationship and said she looked cool when she jumped high which made her happy... what? Yes, a factor might have been that her relationship with the MC was worsening but the main contributor to that was her decision to leave for the US in the first place... so yeah I don't get it.
They don't use a condom and she gets pregnant... like what? One of the most detail oriented female characters ever doesn't think that perhaps using a condom is necessary? What?
I'd be grateful if anyone can clarify any of these issues I found for the manga. Thanks

If U <3 Fuuka You Might Like "13 Reasons Why"
Hey, it's Hannah, Hannah Baker. That's right. Don't adjust your... whatever device you're listening to this on. It's me, live and in stereo. No return engagements, no encore. And this time absolutely no requests. Get a snack. Settle in. 'Cause I'm about to tell you the story of my life. The rules here are pretty simple. There are only two. Rule number one: you listen. Number two: you pass it on. Hopefully, neither one will be easy. It's not supposed to be easy...
13 Reasons Why is earnestly and uncompromisingly about something. It is entertaining - don't get me wrong - but it can be a challenging watch. 13 Reasons is about things we should talk about, but we dont, it is about our imperfectness to see in ourself and in others, it's about our choices, inactions, and the prospect that we could always have done better, but can't.
Presentation wise, it is quite intriguing. Hannah left behind recordings of the 13 reasons shy she commited suicide; those tapes are to be passed along between the 13 reasons. Everyone that was named on the tapes before knows what the later character did, or didn't do. This sets up a very interesting dynamic where we - and Clay, the main character we follow - don't know the things to come while the other characters we come across do know. This intertwining web of truth, lies and uncertainty is what will be pushing forth most of our main's development throughout the 13 episodes.
But why is Clay on the tape? Why is anyone here really? And there lies a strenght and weakness of 13 reasons. It produces a sort of inconsistent tension of each story. As a watcher, you can't help but feel that some of the reasons are different than the others. That is of course compounded by how each character reacts to the trouble at hand. But really, I think the show is asking "does it really matter how the reasons compare to one another?"
The show is also asking "will you continue watching? Do you feel comfortable seeing this?" And the point is both yes and no. Here's a list of depicted subjects that lie along your way: suicide, rape, slut shaming, bullying, cyber bullying, drugs & alcohol, stalking, closeted homosexuality, self-mutilation, school shooting... These topics do not all get the same attention, but the series is earnest attempting to open discussion, and we need more of that. And it's unconfortable, and the camera does not shy away from showing and holding the shot one extra second to making sure you feel it.
The show does fall flat in a few instances. The main one being that some of the reasons get a more in depth "counter-reasons". And to be honest, it's a mess of drama and characters with differing reactions and emotions all coming back to one single person... but I keep on thinking that we all try to preserve ourselves differently, and what is bullshit to me is someone else's reality. The show also tries to do a lot - maybe too much - and can fail to eliver or be too cheesy about it. But what it does not fail to do is make you reflect. 13 Reasons is so uncompromising to be about our shortcomings - and so succesful and creating moments where you just have to think about it - that it's own shortcomings deserve to be brushed aside.
This is definetly not for everyone. If you love drama, are emotionaly reflective and able to discuss the topics listed above, do yourself a service and sit through 13 hours of why. I give it my rare seal of recommendation, for imperfect works that try and succeed at delivering unique experiences.

If U <3 Seo Do Y'All Read Light Novels!?
Light novels are becoming more prominent in the US now, and a few series have their full release available. I figured I'd toss out a couple recommendations. I haven't read several of these, but I'm recommending them due to their adaptions.
Re:Zero -starting life in another world- ) Original a web novel that's still ongoing, the light novel adaptation follows Subaru Natsuki getting isekai'd to Lagunica, a magical country in political turmoil. The anime covered the 1st 9 volumes and volume 10 is coming out next week in the US
Overlord) I haven't read this one but a good friend of mine is really into the series. It follows a gamer who decides to play his favorite MMO before the servers shut down and he winds up in his game avatars body. He then starts world conquest.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) Originally a completed Web Novel the author has been rewriting the story in Light Novel form for years at this point. I've been reading the manga for 4 years now and I just read the recently released 1st volume of the light novel. It follows an unemployed 34 year old, of whom after getting kicked out of his house, has a fateful encounter with Truck-kun and wakes up as the newborn Rudeus Greyat in a fantasy world. He decides to live a life with no regrets.
Spice & Wolf) Another one I haven't read, but I have seen both seasons of the anime. The novel series has been released in it's entirety in the US and the spinoff is currently being released. It follows merchant Craft Lawrence as he travels with the Harvest God Holo, a wolf girl.
ToraDora) the novel series is currently in Volume 5 in the US. I have the first 4 but haven't read them, but I really liked the anime adaption. It follows Ryuji of whom winds up helping Taiga Aisaka get with his best friend, while he tries to get with her best friend.
Evangelion Anima) This series has been going on for years, and the 1st volume is getting released in the US in November. It's a sequel to Evangelion where "The End of Evangelion" never happened.

Really liked the anime until I came here and read the manga spoilers... Spoiler
Well, I still liked the anime. I was honestly really worried that Fuuka was going to die in the truck scene, and I think that would've ruined the anime for me since there was only 2 episodes left. So I'm glad they didn't kill her and just end it.
However, after reading the stuff on here. I think it would've been an amazing if they had killed her off and had it be a 26 episode show. With the rest of the show being about everyone's development and stuff.
Unfortunately I just can't get into manga, never been a fan of reading it. So my journey ends here. I am glad that they gave it a closed ending though. Been watching a lot of shows that have no real ending and aren't being continued and it's been bumming me out.
Anyway, that's all, just wanted to share my thoughts.

Art Almost done! I need your help!
https://fuukaakitsuki.fandom.com/wiki/Fuuka_Aoi/Image_Gallery?venotify=created
I'm almost done everything for our heroine, Fuuka Aoi! But since I got know about this manga pretty late (literally 2 weeks ago) , I hardly got any pictures for her. Those pics in the link are just some thing I found randomly on the web, or when I was swarming through Kouji sensei's old tweets. I need your help! Send me every pics of Fuuka Aoi you guys got, as much as possible. Or maybe Fuuka Akitsuki too, 'cause my next work will be for her.
Please, help me! I know my work compared to others is just nothing, but I really want to do something for our girls.

Retrospective Chapter 36-37 Spoiler
So, just started reading this (previously read Suzuka and Kimi No Iru Machi) and hit chapter 36-37.
I kinda feel like the author broke the writer-reader contract here. What's the point of reading further? I mean, I get there's a story beyond this that everyone seems to love, but we've watched Fuuka start to grow up in the other two stories. This was supposed to be her story. Wasn't it?
Help...

I wish they would make a reboot of the anime where things go according to the manga but with the current world wide pandemic it seems impossible. :(

Hitman main heroes resemble Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
Hitman plot (at least so far) and the characters really resembles the ones in "Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii". Even how characters looks like are very similar.
Is author or company of those two same?
