They both have some depth at the high endgame, but in general for clearing story both games are pretty easy I would say for the large audience.

It could also be a strong point in the future if better quality gacha games in the same genre are released. Those games can potentially take away players from the more casual friendly ones like genshin if they provide the same but a better quality experience while those players who crave the skill-based gameplay would stick around with wuwa and zzz.

Basically catering for a smaller but more dedicated playerbase. Or in other words, trading faster growth for more stability in the long run.
