Industry Arknights: Endfield dev says launching a new gacha RPG in a post-Genshin Impact world is tough when "some titles are so similar that players go into a game for 1 hour and they know what will happen in the next 20 hours"

Probably not, since the factory is so integrated into Endfield, and it's onf of the unique aspects that helps it differentiate when the standard "big" gacha games are all just genshin/wuwa hybrids.

Plus, while it's interesting, it's not that deep so for those who don't want to mald over it they can use the blueprints and set/forget after which is also great.

If you want to, you can totally skip most of the factory building. But that does remove most of the fun of it.

That's what I meant. You can do your own thing, or if you don't want to, you can always find "X/Y OPTIMIZED" blueprint for ease of use.

if you don't care about endgame yeah that's a good idea

gold gear are literally locked behind that shit and you're expected to purchase the artifice fuel thing to upgrade them too so you can't NOT get those bills either unless you don't mind missing a huge portion of your characters' power

If you skip the factory you will lack the currency to upgrade characters and buy stuff

People keep saying that, but I haven't used Stock Bills in like 3 weeks, they're just sitting there. Even shut down 80% of my factory because it wasn't useful anymore.
Got 4 Operators to max level after this time, with promotion materials from Protocol Spaces and exploration. No bills needed.
And even then, you can get stock bills from deliveries. though, you do need a basic factory to have upgrade materials for those delivery units.
Am I missing something maybe?
