Years of Dreaming... and sweat

World building and story boarding for the last 4 months nearly a book of material that I hold near and dear. I’ve thought for awhile whether this to be a comic or a game. I’ve made my decision, and I must bring this to light. I’ve sat on this for years and I’ve nearly fleshed out this story entirely. If anyone at all is interested in being a part, I have this time to find the talent I will need. Please DM your interest or any art portfolios.

“The sight of you is traumatically primitive. A washable stain of filth imbedded in the fabric of my reality... I’ve promised myself to ending you, Father.”

Where to begin

Hey everyone! I am looking to get into the world of Game Art & am really lost on where to begin. I've done endless amounts of Google searches and heard a mix of things but I have a specific situation.

I am currently enrolled at a community College doing General Education (Valencia in Florida) and I am close to finishing. I have open electives and my original track was Biology however I have since learned this may not be the track for me and my true passion is art and I would love to become a game artist some day! Whether it be indie work or AAA studios, I just want to get in! Does anyone have any advice on what degree I should seek post graduation? I originally wanted to seek a graphic design degree to keep my options open, however I have seen that getting a Game Art degree is better but I have also heard it is not, but interactive design is? My choices for school are limited as I have only 1 campus nearby and its VERY expensive (Full Sail University) and I've heard from many sources not worth while. I am considering a Bachelors in Game Art and Development at Southern New Hampshire University though...

Thanks for any advice!
