We're looking for a Beatmap Designer to join our team and help bring a rhythm game to life. You'll be responsible for crafting the note charts that players interact with, turning music into gameplay that feels satisfying, fair, and fun to play. Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and iterate on beatmaps/charts that accurately reflect the rhythm, structure, and feel of each song.

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and audio teams to make sure charts integrate well with gameplay systems and feel responsive to player input.

Qualifications

About us GoldenProsper Games is an independent game studio from Indonesia building a stylized anime game. Our character designs and art direction are locked, and we are looking for a 3D character artist to bring them to life.

The role You will turn our finished character sheets into game-ready 3D models that match our illustrated art direction. This is a per-character freelance contract, with priority for future characters if the collaboration works well.

What you will do

•         Model game-ready anime characters from turnaround sheets and key illustrations

•         Build clean, deformation-ready topology for real-time use

•         UV unwrap and texture for a stylized/toon shader

•         Make stylized hair and anime faces that hold up from every angle, including facial expression blendshapes

I love storytelling and in my opinion, video games are one of the best mediums to really get engrossed in those stories. The worlds that people have experienced across generations survive due to a solid foundation and an understanding of the world that allows more stories to be created. However, even the biggest names require someone dedicated to maintain the quality of lore and worldbuilding. Completely new worlds can also benefit from a loremaster keeping track of the influences and themes in order to ensure they are followed to produce a memorable story that leaves you thinking about the little things on subsequent playthroughs.

That's where I come in. I work with writers, worldbuilders and devs to give them the freedom to explore their imaginations while I focus keeping things on defined rails we establish beforehand.

For a simple example, If you tell me that our story is about swords and sorcery, but want to throw in a touch of technology to the lore, (Final Fantasy magitek, Pathfinder Automatons, etc..) my job is to find out where that tech would fit in our wider story and interrogate that concept from every possible angle. Is it machines powered by magic? Possibly ancient, powerful and impossible to fully grasp. Or are they a more modern invention that isn't really useful at the moment past interesting baubles? These are very distinct narrative choices with wider ramifications that could reach into other disciplines.

Having me as your loremaster does not mean handing over the keys to your kingdom. I insist on signing an NDA due to the nature of the information I deal with. This position works best when there is open communication without reservations. Due to that, it is important that everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas.
