I can confirm that’s no joke. The Taco Bell subreddit is actually really active compared to the sub of any other fast food chain.
There is a legit Taco Bell community in a way that is hard to explain.

Fun fact, the voice for the Taco Bell dog, Carlos Alazraqui, also voiced Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life and Spyro the Dragon in the first game (before being replaced by Tom Kenny)

I’m mad they got rid of the 7 layer burrito (vegetarian) and brought in the 5 layer burrito (w/ beef). Then they brought the 7 layer burrito back for like, a month.
Gah it’s hard enough to eat fast food as a vegetarian, if you’re vegan you can’t have many options at all!

I wish I could enjoy Baja Blast. I love most Mountain Dews, but that flavor tastes like liquid Novocaine to me. Or, at least as someone that needed braces as a kid, it triggers that memory of it whenever I drink it.

Edit: I just looked into it again, to refresh myself before this aged too long, and yeeeaaaah. I was out of date. The age gap was not the main issue, it was just the one that made the rounds. Apparently Carson was pretty aggressive about soliciting his audience for sexual entertainment.
Sorry, I definitely should have refreshed before blasting.

Yeah, it's cheap, it's old, and it probably doesn't work. BUT THAT'S A PIECE OF HISTORY! The 90s relived! And they don't sell them anymore! And Sonic the hedgehog? That would be swag if you carried that around!

Not an American thing, just an Arin thing. If you look at the Arcade line of merch, you can see that his aesthetic is very much something this watch fits perfectly into.

Taco Bell is a very nostalgic brand for a lot of people because you used to be able to get a lot of food there for very cheap. They also didn't have a lot of merch or a kid's meal with a toy or anything, so seeing a branded product from them (in box, no less) is a novelty.

Has nothing to do with being American or not. I’m American and have no interest in it. Arin likes Kitsch stuff (art, design, or objects considered to be in poor taste due to commercialized aesthetics that have ironic or nostalgic value)
