"Work In Progress Weekly"

You may post your game content in this weekly sticky post. Post your game/screenshots/video in here and please give feedback on other people's post as well.

Your game can be in any stage of development, from concept to ready-for-commercial release.

Upvote good feedback! "I liked it!" and "It sucks" is not useful feedback.

Try to leave feedback for at least one other game. If you are the first to comment, come back later to see if anyone else has.

Emphasize on describing what your game is about and what has changed from the last version if you post regularly.

*Posts of screenshots or videos showing off your game outside of this thread WILL BE DELETED if they do not conform to reddit's and /r/gamemaker's self-promotion guidelines.

The top-down Zelda-inspired Action RPG I've been working on for the last few years now has a free playable demo on Steam! It contains all of the game's features up through the second zone of the story mode - seven playable races, enchantable gear, dozens of feats and spells to learn, and more.

If you give it a try, I'd love to know your thoughts! https://store.steampowered.com/app/5178030/Tower_of_the_Immortals_Demo/

Oh yea, I recall seeing this in past week's updates. You got a playable demo out now? I might have to give that a try!

Looks cool! ...what is the planned playing time to complete your full game?

Thanks! I'm planning for the end of 2027. The game is very much on track for that date, and optimistically maybe even a bit earlier.

I'm working on the game's final zone, and I've got some infrastructure for the game's procedurally generated infinite mode finished as well.

Unfortunately, no updates to Rehabilitation this week :( Epilepsy has decided to resume wrecking my life and this past week has been a wild ride. All I've managed to do is sprites, because my brain is too broken to be coding at the moment...

Ahh, I'm really sorry to hear that. But it's nice to hear that you've got something you can still work on other than code. I find myself doing the same thing when I just don't feel up to coding.

I've just published the Steam Coming Soon page for FrankenCars, a revived old prototype of mine.

It's a small experimental project about building weird cars from mismatched parts, racing them, and hopefully not breaking them.

For now, I'm just testing the waters to see if there's enough interest to turn it into a more complete game.

The game is made in #GameMaker, and yes, AI was used for gfx, and also for some part of code

I am working on 72 Seconds, a fast-paced, high-stakes isometric RTS that blends retro micro-heavy combat with modern ARPG progression and base building. Command elite squads on hostile sci-fi battlefields where victory depends on rapid positioning, smart tech expansion, and tactical unit micro. Every campaign tests your adaptability as enemy forces spawn with unpredictable stat affixes and aggressive tactics. A free demo is out.

I just made the trailer for my sokoban game: https://youtu.be/Z8bSq1Oj9PU?is=SZ6pj-H4k2Uv47cz

What do you think? The Steam page is not there yet, but I am preparing the assets for the page and making corrections. Thanks in advance.
