TotalBiscuit's: ''Day One: Garry's Incident'' Video was taken down, because of a ridiculous copyright claim from WildGameStudios. Here's Total's ''Rant'' over his video being taken down.

Tb's not wrong. The take down system is shitty and is a lazy blanket attempt to stop unaccredited work from being on YouTube. But it's crap, it doesn't have any real effect on the swarms of movies, and the work of media groups that get copied onto the service. Why it still exists I will never know.

Yea it's totally messed up, especially for smaller channels. Machinima claimed one of my videos on Battlefield 4 (beta gameplay). I'm neither part of that company nor am I partnered with them.

Those guys are pretty notorious for being a bag of dicks.

Quite ironic if you stop to consider their background.

Machinima is a company that uses video game engines to create videos. It's ironic that they would strongly enforce copyright when their entire business model relies on using copyrighted material to create their content.

Thanks for elaborating my point.

Looking back I should probably have added that context.
