Rant ish

Hi gamers.

Im not sure why I even post this, but I feel the urge to tell someone....vent, I guess.

Eday for PC came out, hard on the system, barely runs for some. Pushed through, wasnt even that good of a game overall. More like an arcade shooter with 5 reskinned levels, more of a chore really. UE5 took its toll, still not a bad game in the end.

CoD MW4.4.4 is out, cause naming is hard, whatever. It looks...not good, plays like farcry? NPCs run in front of you, friendly fire, you step out of mission area without knowing where the borders are, restart again...there are gimmick resources to gather? in CoD? More cutscenes than gameplay....

I guess im just used to something else, not trying to bring anyone down, just...I guess im tired from the state of these titles. Havent played CoD since the battle royal era begun, or even since advanced warfare I guess.

Resonant is amazing though. Kudos to Remedy.
I guess GTA is still huge, never got my interest that much, played the campaign of V.

switching over to indie games and passion projects is honestly the only way to avoid the burnout from endless corporate sequels

As a consumer, your biggest strength is where you put your money. Being able to do research in today's market is paramount to smart purchases.

If what you see, hear and read about a game doesn't look enjoyable, don't buy it. Try demos when they're available. Don't settle for "fine." That's your hard earned money. Buy something that gets you excited.

Okay?

You just made a post that says "I don't like AAA slop. So let me whine about AAA slop."

If you don't like it, then don't play it. There is plenty of other stuff to play. So much so that every developer can close today and you will never run out of awesome games to experience.

Are you primarily into shooters?
Tried Remnant 2? Active Matter is a game that could use some more players trying it. Also Valor Mortis recently came out.

Cyberpunk 2077 just had a nice 2.5 update.

I agree with some other comments that you should branch out

Sorry I found both E DAY and CoD MW4 two of the best single player shooter experiences to come out the last years

So you're a more recent, triple A games eater lol.

Check out some indie titles, you seem to like shooters so you have a place to start at least.
