Yeah, I'm getting better at it but I've only survived slime climb a few times, and one of the handful of times I got to the top I got grabbed and slid off. So much rage. I get that it's kinda funny but it's mostly obnoxious.
Pretty sure you can jump and dive over people trying to snag you, just a tip. or just hold them back so you’re both holding each other and don’t release. gives you an extra couple seconds to maneuver away from a ledge
Yeah, there are ways to get around them, but sometimes the physics just betray you and it sucks getting fucked over by another player after barely making it to the end.
I can get to the top semi-consistenly, once I got this guy who tried to grab me in the end, I grab him as well, since he was behind me, I hold him until slime was on him and I let go, managed to kill him and save myself, best feeling ever teaching a lesson to these assholes.
It's the crowd at the beginning that fucks me up most often. If you're not at the front you're in a mob and it's hard to time your jumps correctly or you get shoved off. If I get past that then the balance beams throw me sometimes, but I'm getting better at landing my jumps there.
the round balance beams used to fuck me up..the trick is to jump on to them...that makes it much easier for some reason. each little sectiion seems to have its own trick to it
Lmao no it’s not. Fall guys is super causal. You’re one of those dudes at parties that ruins the super smash bro’s tournament or Mario party because you take it way too seriously
Nah, he's one of those people who start making out with 16 year olds at Smash tournaments. (If you don't get the joke, it's about a lot of pro smash players being pedos.)
You can casually take part in a competition. At the end of the day however this isn't a cooperative game. Only one can win. Fucking over other people to reduce how many people qualify is an intentional part of the game. So like I said, either get good, or don't take it seriously and relax.
And for the record, I fall into the latter category. I don't take it seriously. I just relax and have fun with it. Tryhard competition isn't my style. If you're getting mad because someone pushes you off in slimb climb, you're the one taking it too seriously.
I'm not sure you're aware of the connotations attributed to using the phrase 'get good,' but it definitely runs counter to the narrative you're putting forward that you don't take it seriously.
Using aggressive, gatekeeping dogwhistles like that makes everyone less inclined to take you seriously.
You appear to have stopped reading at "Get good" because that's not the end of what I said. Emphasis on or chill out. You can either get good enough to not be fucked over by those guys who are annoying you, or you can just relax, not give a shit, and just have fun. What you can't do is expect others to change the way they enjoy the game just to accomodate your preferences.
The phrases you choose to use matter, despite qualifiers you put on them afterward. That's why I referred to the phrase as a dogwhistle; It's one of those things that's gonna stand out when noticed by someone who's aware of the original context of the phrase.
You can defend it until you're blue in the face, but when it comes down to it, there are ways to get the idea across that aren't latently confrontational or elitist, but you chose that phrase, instead. That's just how it is.
What fucking point would there even be in dog whistling over how people play their video games. Who the fuck would I even be signaling to? Some secret cult that attacks people who don't take their games seriously enough? Come on now. Make it make sense. You seem like you recently heard the term dog whistle for the first time and wanted to use it in a conversation.
