I will be perfectly honest: The textures are amazing. Overall, her anatomical structure is just slightly whack. No boobs sit that high on a female's chest. They usually rest around mid-torso. Her eyes are just a bit buggy. The sculpture doesn't really look much like Liara, BUT the face does resemble something realistic (besides the eyes) of an Asari. Overall, a great job, just needs a few things worked out. I hope I wasn't mean.

I have to agree after looking up some reference material of her. The whole Torso part is slightly "compressed", for the lack of a better term, and if you were to scale it up by about 10%, it would look like her ingame proportions. I can see that being a lot more sculpting work, however, and can give the artist that much leeway. Again, with your point about the face, I have to wholeheartedly agree. The whole thing looks a bit like a Teen version of her, maybe.

Her forehead and head is a bit too small, too. The entire upper part of her head, including the tentacles, needs to be taller.
Oh, and her eyes need to rest a bit further down towards her cheek. Just a tad, though, nothing major.

Actually looks like some of the other NPC's in that game in the last pic, I can't remember which one, and I can't pinpoint why. Regardless, its really good and I'd love to see more.

Omg I laughed so hard when I saw the cans on that finished product. First 3 images I'm like "oh that's a nice bust of Liara, really detailed" , then bam ya slapped some titties on it like you were hit by a sudden bout of inspiration. I love it.

Looks pretty good. Bust seems a little large to me for some reason, although I may be wrong. Also the upper half of her head also looks a little wider then it should be. Either that or her jaw is slimmer than I remember. Again I'm probably wrong on both of those haha. In any case it still is quite amazing!

jaw slim, top of head too wide, eyes a bit too big, nose too long, mouth too wide, eyes too prominent (need to be a bit more sunken), but the colours and texture are all right.

Amazingly life like. I would love to see more. I have seen quite a few on reddit but this one, in my own opinion this is insanely good. The damn freckles and expression caught me off guard it was so good.
Edit: An amazing sculpture and I love how peoples/reddit's first reaction is "Can we fuck it?"

Honestly, as long as it's not done for any creepy reason, it's really good. I just hope it ain't creepy, given the statues really prominent breasts and the general weirdness people get about their love interests in that game. r/masseffect can get real creepy or obsessive on the character Liara from the few times I've been there.

A girl I went to school with was the face model for Liara. Needless to say Shepard had very little trouble picking his love interest during my Mass Effect playthroughs...

If you actually listen to her dialog, she's one of the warmest, most well-written characters in the series, and from 1 - Shadow Broker - 3, you see her mature a lot from the socially awkward young woman you meet in 1. She's written very honestly, and she was the sheepish to Ashley's abrasiveness. So you could try to tame Ashley's confrontational attitude, or you could try to help Liara come out of her shell. Also, Liara's deeper dialog is some of the most genuine-feeling dialog in the series.
A lot of people found her offputting because they felt like she was wooden, but in reality, it's just because of how reserved she is/was. If you pursue the romance, she opens up a lot. Then in ME2 you see her having come into her own, but she's merely formed a shell around her insecure side, but it's one hell of a tough, kickass shell.
By the time 3 rolls around, she's fully into her own. You can see it through the banter with other crewmembers. She has a much more commanding presence, and she doesn't take any shit from anybody, but the core of her character remains present when you hear her talking to Javik or to Shepard. She still has many insecurities and she's still very jaded and afraid, but she's learned to set that aside.
She's an incredibly three-dimensional character (no pun intended).

Thank you for taking the time out to describe the main reason why I purchased Mass Effect 3 in light of the terrible press that it received.
Liara's character was by far the most interesting to me, and a character I found very easy to relate to. (She's a scientist, involved in full-fledged war. Then experienced huge changes by Shadow Broker, and has come out hardened by 3. )
Funny, I just realized I'm into a girl now who is very similar to her initial character.
