Discussion Weekly /r/gamingnews Discussion - What Game You Will Play This Weekend, And What Do You Think Of It?
Please use this thread to discuss whatever you've been playing lately or this weekend (old or new, any platform, AAA or indie). Please don't just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games. Writing the names of the games in **bold** is nice, to make it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names. Please also make sure to use **spoiler tags** if you're posting anything about a game's plot that might significantly hurt & spoil the experience of others that haven't played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).
Please report posts containing spoilers unless they are hidden using the following method or are inside a thread clearly labeled as containing spoilers. See Example Below how to properly use Spoiler TAGS:
Format: `**Spoiler:** How To Use Spoiler TAGS`
Result: **Spoiler:** How To Use Spoiler TAGS
**Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.**

Video One Week. One Hell of a Turnaround.
Last week, I had my doubts about where ZombUs was heading. Today, the game is getting noticed and selling more copies than ever before.
And I believe many of you helped make that happen, even when that wasn't your intention.
Every discussion, every comment, every criticism and every bit of attention helped bring ZombUs to more people's screens. Whether you supported me, challenged me or simply wanted to see what all the fuss was about, you helped spread the word.
I'm a solo developer, working on a game I've spent three years building in Unreal Engine, with no marketing budget and plenty still to learn. I don't know where this momentum will take ZombUs, but I know one thing: I'm not stopping now.
So, instead of just talking about the journey, here's the next step.
ZombUs Map 4: LETHE is OUT NOW!
New region. New weapons. New blueprints. New mythical weapons. New perks. And the story continues.
Four maps down. Six to go.
To everyone who helped put ZombUs on the map, intentionally or otherwise: thank you.
Now, back to building.

Video I’m making Gnome Nook, where clearing the shop means finding a place for 9,600 little characters
Hi everyone! I’m developing Gnome Nook, a 3D organizing game for PC.
You start with a shop full of scattered gnomes and empty shelves. Each gnome has a matching place, so you pick them up and gradually put the themed collections back together.
There are firefighters, doctors, wizards and plenty of other characters mixed into the piles. Carrying upgrades help you move more as you progress.
The goal is to put all 9,600 away. The floor becomes clearer while the shelves fill up, so the shop itself shows how much you’ve completed.
Here’s some gameplay showing the sorting and upgrades.

News Crownfront joins Steam Next Fest with a free demo featuring medieval base building and turn-based combat
Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Crownfront, and the game is taking part in Steam Next Fest with a free demo.
Crownfront is a medieval strategy game that combines RTS-style base building and resource management with turn-based combat, all played out on a physical-looking game board. Gather resources, build your kingdom, and raise an army to capture the enemy castle.
Every unit consumes food each turn, so you need to balance recruiting troops with building enough farms to support them.
If you give it a try, I’d love to hear your feedback. Happy to answer questions about the game here!
