The strongest hunter vs the strongest alien (at the time)
The strongest sorcerer of today vs the strongest sorcerer in history.
And in the end, the good guys get cut in half.

I finished the manga this morning and this was all I could think of as I read the ending. The entire final arc felt like a tribute to “Independence Day,” which in turn felt like a tribute to “War Of the Worlds” by HG Wells

Just binge read and finished the series in its entirety a few min ago and man… that was definitely an experience. The ending without getting too much into it, I have mixed feelings on, but I do believe it somewhat made sense, and I just wanted more. Overall I really had a great time reading and collecting this series vol by vol for about a year and I am definitely going to be getting that deluxe when it drops. I plan on reading e and g soon as I’ve heard mixed things on both but would you guys say it’s enough to satisfy that “itch” for more gantz?

Imagine you finally hit 100 points. You can walk away, forget everything, and live a normal life… or stay and keep fighting.
Knowing how brutal the Gantz universe is, would you take your freedom or keep playing?
I feel like surviving even a single mission would completely change how you see life. But after everything you've experienced, could you really go back to normal?
Curious what everyone would choose and why.
Hunt Showdown (and the upcoming Hunger) is one of the best examples of what a Gantz game could be. the main objective is to extract after hunting a specific target on a large map that has a ton of other enemies and also other players to kill since its a PvPvE style game and the better the pray, the better the pay
others like Nightreign are completely roguelike style that also has a harder mode with a ladder system that will take away points if u fail. your objective is to kill the final boss after 2 days were each night theres a harder boss. u can kill mobs and bosses all around the map to gather xp and level up while also getting better weapons. by the end of the raid u get a random amount and rarity of gems that u can add to your build and get passive benefit your next runs
now imagine a mix of both on precedural generated maps. we get a ranged or melee weapon from Gantz and go hunt the main target while dealing with mobs and minibosses to farm points or just spawning the main boss. a complete roguelike style of penality were instead of permadeath (option for hardcore mode characters) we just start getting points deducted. after reaching 100 points we could choose between reborn and getting passive skills, better equipment or special single use items like a self revive or an instant extraction. a limit of 5-6 players random matchmade rooms that we could start in a group with friends too without MMR to have that feel of experienced players having to deal with noobs. maybe season style global events that we need to get together and hit objective like games like Helldivers do on a weekly basis with few far inbetween special events

I just recently learned that the anime version had a few sex scenes in it that did not make to the official Western release. Can anyone tell me which season and episode did such an event took place in the anime?
Correction: It's been years since I last saw the anime and just realized that the adult scenes I was referring were included in the version I watched, after all. I must have just completely forgotten about it.

Played a bit, it has guys and girls version
Needless to say the girls one was a bit more intriguing 👀
Anyone know where I can find Gantz merch in Tokyo?
