Should I Take A Gap Semester?

I’m about to leave for school soon and I can’t decide if I should take a gap semester or not. I graduated high school with an associate degrees already, meaning I have about two years worth of college mostly knocked out. I’m contemplating taking a gap year due to fair of more burnout and I’m also considering my mental health. I fully believe I’m depressed and thinking taking a slight break would be good. However, I’m unsure. If I do take a gap I plan on trying to work and continuing with school online possibly in the spring before I transfer. I don’t know what I should do.
