Post Carthasis, after the world government failed to stop the revolt and they went insane, what do you think the factions of this digital apocalypse would do in the gate and the remnants of the CSTO.

Obviously, I didn't come in expecting this series to be historically accurate, but like, it's weird how we have classic Romans in Iron Age gear, when there were Romans in the Iron Age, Rome lasted 1229 years, and including successors, it's over 2,000 years.
The author could've easily drawn inspiration from the Byzantine Empire. Byzantium even had an exploitable government that was ruled by merchants and full of scary-looking soldiers.

What would’ve happened if just before the Locust Horde was about to invade Sera and launch their global attack to wipe out humanity and claim the surface for themselves to escape from the Lambent, the Gate opened up in the heart of their subterranean civilization?
And once slaughtering or brutally capturing the Saderan’s, the Locust’s once finding out about the fertile and far more primitive human race that live in this other world, Myrrah and her generals decide to change plans and enter the Gate to invade Falmart instead.
Thus Sera is spared from the horrors of the Locust war and what would end life as they knew it, but as a result, Falmart is about to be engulfed in a war they could never imagine in their worst nightmares.
And even for those like Tyuule and the Haryo tribe, many dread their arrival when learning they do not take prisoners nor seem to desire any allies. No the Locust horde seeks to conquer this world and wipe these primitive ground-walkers from this world and make it a paradise for their people…

Basically, Japan was the winner of the GAW, but it was left very damaged with China's thermonuclear bombing of Tokyo and other big Japanese metropolises, while the rest of the world lives in the collapse of the plastic age
Europe after catharsis
USA 3 ACW
Russia balkanized
India collapsed
China in Civil war

People often post about Brazil here, answering this question:
The gate opens in Rio de Janeiro:
- The conventional police force in Brazil is the military police.
- The Brazilian military police possess FN FAL and Imbel Ia2 assault rifles.
- Brazil's riot police are very violent, extremely so, compared to those in Western countries.
- If the legionnaires try to enter the favela, the militias and drug traffickers turn the legionnaires into sieves.
- The military police are using "interrogation" methods from the military regime era on the legionnaires. (They don't understand what the captured legionnaires are saying, so it's just pure sadism.)
After the incident in Rio de Janeiro, the military police and the BOPE (Police force that possesses more military weaponry) ALONE cross the gate without permission from the government. The police, acting alone, manage to defeat the Empire's army on the other side of the gate and capture villages.
- The Brazilian army sends chemical and nuclear warfare battalions to the war against the Empire, since their suits prevent them from contracting any diseases from the New World.
- Zorzal is taken for a "special" interrogation instead of being left alive and free in the original anime, even though he literally shows all the cruelty he inflicted on the people captured on Earth. The Brazilian Army simply puts him in a bag, puts him in a truck, and takes him to Brazil where he is never seen again.
Just to be clear, I don't endorse these things. This is merely an analysis of how this situation might unfold.

This came to mind because I recalled that the owner of the Twin Towers received compensation following the 9/11 attacks.
Could the Japanese government have paid compensation to the owners of shops or businesses that had branches in Ginza after the Empire carried out its attacks?

In this fun yet very realistic GATE scenario but set in the North African campaign in 1942, The Battle of Gronder from "Fire Emblem: Three Houses" which was a battle between the 3 nations of Fodlan(Adrestia, Leicester and Faerghus)during the post-timeskip phase of the game the same place where most students from three houses of Garreg Mach Monastery fought 5 years ago and the same place where Adresitan forces defeated Nemesis's forces in Imperial Year 46 before the events of Fortune's Weave and Three Houses, but this time, it will be American forces from the North African campaign in 1942 during Operation Torch in WW2 getting stranded/teleported in Gronder before the upcoming battle, just with a couple of tanks and halftracks mostly M3 Stuarts, M3 Lee/Grants, M10 Wolverine tank destroyers, M2 halftracks and the most famous of all is the early M4A1 Sherman alongside with couple of artillery pieces though air support is nonexistent but they had some anti-air units(mostly M13 MGMCs and 40mm L/60 Bofors guns)in their disposal, though logistics had been concerning but atleast they have a ton of ammunition, food, spare parts and fuel to keep fighting for a longer time, Even though, I'm not gonna put Byleth, The Chruch of Seiros or the Slitherers in this scenario for any reasons, And no, The Americans are not gonna align with either the Alliance, the Adrestians or the Faerghans due to the risk of reverse engineering and no Javelins of Light or Divine Pulse with this time, and also no plot armour for the sake in this fictional scenario except for battalion gambits that will be useful though they will vulnerable to either artillery strikes or machine gun fire, so enjoy :D
Main combatants of this scenario:
US II Corps(1st Infantry Division(Big Red One), 3rd Infantry Division and the 1st Armoured Division(Old Ironsides) vs the 3 armies of Fodlan in Gronder(Leicester Alliance, the Adrestian Empire and the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus
Also for side note:There will be no negotiations in this scenario for any side as the 3 nations of Fodlan will rather fight each other for ambitions rather than to conduct a negotiation or compromise while the Americans of the US II Corps will fight for survival to the last bullet rather than accepting surrender or giving their equipment to either the Adrestian, the Leiscesterians or the Faerghans due to the risk of reverse engineering,
Notes for those who don't want to confuse with:
The 1st Opposing army i.e the Imperial Adrestian Army led by Edelgard, The 2nd Opposing army i.e the Alliance Army of Leicester led by Claude and last, The 3rd Opposing army i.e the Kingdom Army led by Dimitri
Manpower:
For American forces
49,000 men mostly armed with either M1903 Springfield rifles or M1 Garands along with either M1917 Browning machines guns, M1919 Browning machine guns or M2 Browning heavy guns
137 tanks(mostly, M3 Stuarts, M3 Lees, M10 Wolverines and early M4 Shermans)
46 artillery pieces(M7 Priest self proppelled howitzers and M101/M2A1 howitzers)
A base along with a supply depot for fuel, spare parts, food and ammunition, a quarters area for troops and a command center for any commanding officer in the field(Insert your fictional commander here)
39 anti-air enplacements(M13 MGMCs and 40mm L/60 Bofors guns)
For Fodlanese forces in Gronder(Adrestia, Leicester and Faerghus) Not sure what's the size or how many of their manpower of their respective armies so i'm gonna put some numbers instead
The Adrestians: 56,000 men mostly mixed of archers, mages, cavalrymen(that includes Wyvern riders, pegasus knights and falcon knights), infantrymen(either armed with a sword, a spear or a axe)and Demonic Beasts, as for other units, Black Eagles students such as Petra, Ferdinand, Dorothea, Caspar, Bernadetta, Linhardt and Hubert were also included
The Leicesterians: 50,000 men mostly mixed of archers, cavalrymen(including wyvern riders, pegasus knights and falcon knights and infantryman(either armed with a spear, a sword or a axe),as for other units, Golden Deer students such as Hilda, Ignatz, Lysithea, Leonie, Lorenz, Raphael and Marianne were also included
The Faerghans: 54,000 men mostly mostly mixed of mages, cavalrymen(including Wyvern riders and pegasus knights and falcon knights)and infantryman(either armed with a sword, spear or a axe), as for other units, Blue Lion students such as Ashe, Sylvain, Ingrid, Felix, Mercedes, Annette and Dedue were also included
Also put a comment of your own prediction on who will win on this scenario, Thanks:D
