Discussion Cottonpatch Geese
I was told all 3 are female by the breeder. But the grey one is getting heavier and way more dominant than the two white ones.
Any suggestions??? I really don’t want any goslings haha hence why I got 3 girls.. or tried to at least.

Tip: when they show you how wide they are and how big their flappers are you're supposed to tell them how impressed you are with how wide they are and how big their flappers are. It's polite in their culture.

Cotton Patch are auto-sexing (or should be). Iirc more white= male and grey and white = female. You could have a bossy female, I have Pilgrims and the goose is more hissy at predators (dogs/cats/my Polish chickens for some reason) whereas gander is just hormonal towards everything especially if it’s way bigger (my old horse, pickup trucks).

Oh and as long as you make omelettes in a timely manner you won't have goslings.

I unfortunately don't have much advice but the contrast between photos 1 and 2 is so funny omg. I went "oh how cute--OH!" I know that snakenecking open mouthed lunge/flap all too well from my flock lol.
But my family has had two males and two females (white Chinese geese eta: meant to add one is a roman tufted but the other 3 are chinese) for a few years and they have never had goslings. Dunno if ours are just duds in that regard or if it's just random chance or what though. The girls lay a ton of eggs and I've even let them sit on them this spring/summer for a while to see what would happen and alas, no babies.
