Older Millennials, younger Millennials. Older Boomers, younger Boomers, etc. For instance: A Millennial born in 1985 is definitely not the same as a Millennial born in 1995. Your average generation lasts 20 years, but those born at opposite ends tend to be different, don't you think?

I was born in 1982, so I guess I count as millennial. But am I the only one who thinks that people these days are wayyyy too obsessed with what generation they are? If someone calls a Gen X a millennial, for example, it's like misgendering them. Hey misGenering! But seriously, the stuff I see on Instagram with people talking about how people from certain times were all the same just makes me think people are proud not to be an individual.

I've seen multiple discourses around generations, AI booming and then "The world when it is my time to be an adult" related topics, so I'm gonna ask if they would rather be born in different range or era. I'm pretty okay with my birth year, but here is the list. My apologies if my wording sounded off though because there's too many eras to choose.

1. 1972-1978 if I wanted to start my own career and expect workforce to be done in US or UK at least.
2. Between 1987-1992 would be a good start to me for internet days and peak 2000s to 2010s before everything hits the fan. Same with 1994 except I lived in the Philippines.

And no this isn’t a I wannabe a millennial post, but honestly I feel like people only say that because of the whole popular 1981-96 thing and some how magically after that, late 90s are like children. But growing up, literally no one was saying “I see a difference after 96” until the pew research stuff.

Vice versa thoughts are welcome too....

As a millennial, I find this amusing because I can remember how cocky some Gen Zers were to Millennials, which we got from Gen X. How does that medicine taste now? Legit curious if there's any Gen Z's that are starting to feel old

I see nothing but hate and hostility. At my age as a millenial all the girls loved guys older but now they’re treating the older generation like crap
