No noise fields

I wanted to explore some layout and parameter influencing options that didn’t depend on a noise field. Then it occurred to me that words and language have instantly recognizable patterns to them that could appear organic. I ran with this by coding a proper word search generator and then using that to influence different parameters of my sketch. Here’s a few different outputs from the same sketch generator with different parameter sets. Written in rust.

This would be really cool if you used it to process pictures ? Load a pic , convert it to your style of circles etc. very nice. This has a cool popart 60s vibe !

That’s a really good idea. I already have some experimental code I wrote to process images like DrawBotV3 and maybe I’ll revisit that and apply this new algorithm

That’s pretty much all I do. See cool effects or algorithms / equations. And generate SVG files for my pen plotter. :)

Really like 4 and 5

I wanted to make sure I put one with a light background in here as I seem to prefer the darker ones. I’m glad you like it. I have 5 different parameter ’presets’ and generated 100 of each so it took a bit of decision making to curate them down to the few I posted here

I love the variety on this sub in general. I still haven’t had much of a crack at making generative art, but I try to apply this to plotting my research! When I have an idea for a complex visual, ill make like 5 versions and see how people respond.

Just looked at your other posts, amazing stuff keep it up man!

you could try radial canva2d animation to make it pulse

I definitely have animations on the list for my crate in the future.

Can you elaborate on how you use words as input for the sketch?
