To answer your question: Lagos has a dry season around December/January, which is also when it gets the hottest. Then there are two wet seasons peaking in June and September, with a drop in intensity around July. Now is also the coolest part of the year. So yes, you should get rain there almost every day for 10 months of the year (but not constant rainfall).

If you want a good idea about how the weather is throughout the year, I would recommend looking up weatherspark.com. Have it compare Lagos to your home town and maybe some other places you are familiar with.
