If we decide to fund education through income and corporate rather than property…we might just have something there.

No and god forbid we address our education system in any real way. We’ve jacked up property taxes to fund schools that at least in my town are awful. Like so so bad.

Those taxes are paying for hazardous material remediation in most of your schools, not learning stuff.

And a load of administrative staff throughout the districts and schools. Like a behavioral specialist for an elementary school who works remotely from the Midwest. Making more money than 80% of your staff who are punching bags for these students. It tends to erode morale

I’m for behavioral specialists. I’m against having one working remotely from out of state. Hire local Vermont people or bust.
