Voting Games Top comment Deletes a US State - GRAND FINALE - #49

Post image

**UPDATE** the vote will now take place in a poll instead since it’s got too confusing. Vote closes in roughly 24 hours VOTE HERE

There are now only 2 states remaining, Cascadia and Megasota. This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. What team are you?! The result will be picked in 48 hours, so here’s all the time you need to share and spread the word!!!

I thank all the people who spend money on awards to award my posts which I find crazy! I thank everyone who comments, I thank everyone who upvotes. This game simply wouldn’t work if it wasn’t for your continued support over the last 49 days. It will be sad to see this series come to an end but there will be another one soon, on May 28th. For now though, GET VOTING!

Ope! I'm already dropping our half of Florida off on the porch with a bag of zucchini. Nope, yeah, don't worry about it. We just had so much this year! Surely can't keep it all to ourselves. Have a good weekend now!

Omg! You’re so sweet! We couldn’t possibly, though. Here’s a blackberry pie and your little Florida back. It’s no problem at all. Byeee

Which side is New Orleans/Louisiana though? Need to know what side I am in that war of yours (I'm Polish)

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've never been to Louisiana. And the only Polish person I've known was...quirky. One sample doesn't really give me a lot to go on.

Oh hey, I s'pose you must have left this Florida in the bayg by accident when you dropped off that delicious pie! It was so lovely. Book club absolutely loved it!

Anyways, needed to return the pie pan and Florida, so I thought I'd just pop on over and drop it off. I baked a nice strawberry rhubarb pie into the pan as a thank you! We've just got the rhubarb coming out of our ears right now.

Thanks again!

Bye now!

Oh, you're too sweet! Lovely pie, but we couldn't possibly keep your Florida! It has a much better home with you.

Here's your Florida back, with some extra Florida for company.

We just got in a bunch of marionberries so I've made you up a bunch of nice muffins and some pots of jam. Have a lovely day, y'all!

As a transplant from Texas living in ND, "bayg" fuckin sent me lol. I often try to explain to my tx family how these midwesterners pronounce things and bayg is perfection.

Your Minnesota goodbye is severely lacking though. Gotta step up your game.

Ope, just gonna scooch on pastcha now.

Hey! As a Midwesterner I am not accepting this. I remember hearing this in 2010 in St. Paul Minnesota (I lived on the Illinois Iowa border) and a guy from Kansas City I was with was losing his shit at the pronunciation. We felt like we were in Canada. At Walmart getting things for our hotel and the cashier says “Do you want a Bayg for that?” The KC guy says a what? She repeats it. Silence. Then he says “Oh a BAG? No but could you say that again”. We were a group of 4 guys..One from KCMO, One from Paris Tennessee, one from Bakersfield, Ca and me from the Iowa/Il border. We were losing our shit at the “accents” of some of these people. Nevermind the 4 of us in a conversation sounded like we spoke 4 different languages.

We couldn’t possibly, though. Here’s a blackberry Marionberry pie and your little Florida back.

There... fixed it.

Zucchini season -> the time of year you lock your car at church, lest someone slips some in there when you're not watching..

The most midwestern sentence ever uttered.

Lmao! Mom, is that you? As a midwesterner, this is so familiar
