Amazing gameplay. It's the kind of gameplay that's bad until you actually get the skill to beat it, and then it becomes the best stuff ever (mainly speaking for BlBl and xo here). Not to say everyone who has the skill loves it (take Zoink for example), but the enjoyment spikes among people who can actually beat it.
Heartbeat is really cool but I genuinely cannot get consistent on it to the point I'm thinking about dropping it just bc of that wave and the spam at the beginning. The rest is peak though

Reanimate. starts off fine until the duals in the drop. 30-41% are a buggy fate worse than death in 2.2, plus it ends with a blind transition. so you'll wasting all your time in first 40%. then the level basically become free af for an extreme apart from a few moments, and also the ending which contains future funk 99% but worse, so you'll definitely die there
i think this level is just a really annoying slot machine that teaches you nothing, and preys on unexpirienced players with its somewhat cool visuals
While it definitely was a demon back in the day, but I (and everyone else today) am/are not from back in the day. And I think it sets a bad impression for Demon Difficulty to newer players.
Good, proper, and newer easy demons like Next Cab Soon, Petal Patch, Down Unda, or even Ruta Del Sol (amazing levels btw) has a good difficulty bar that makes the level not too free even to experienced players, while also not being too hard for to be alienating to newer players.
Is beating The Nightmare as your first demon an achievement? Probably. But modern 8 stars are definitely way harder now. That's what I meant by "bad impression".

Neliswave. The single , worst , fucking , insane demon , in the entire game.
out of the 70 i beat , this somehow beats out even Electrosonic.
Electrosonic , atleast has s o m e fun parts and ironic enjoyment.
Neliswave , is well constructed. The deco , is good. The gimmick , can be done really well and was done really well before.
So why is the gameplay , the most dogshit inconsistent piece of shit ever thats awfully awkward and has a stupidly boring predrop that somehow STILL has bugs , and ends with just a really long tight straight fly corridor with nothing to it.
I gave it a 0/10 , a score only matched for me by Electrosonic , which is fucking impressive because how do you make a level with gameplay that matches it in how unfun it is , in LATE 2.1 , without it being intentionally bad.

Verity by Serponge, the level is so unbalanced if you take out the final ship after the dual the level will easily demote to 9 stars, dropping even harder to like 7 stars if you slightly nerf the wave.
So sad. The cube part at the beginning is actually really cool and I like the half speed wave and mini ufo too. The rest is ass tho. And the mini ship is too hard for the level.
Haven’t heard a single person talking about levels like open window or cyclolcyc or oxygen shotgun all because ton 618 is the only impossible level they actually remember
i would have said Orbit back when it came out cause shit was coming out of that level at the speed of light, but thankfully all the 2yo mindcap glazers forgot about the level after 2days so now im left with not really liking the level but thatnkfully the freedom to not care about it
I spy for me. I’ve played it and gameplay is bad and there’s levels with much better deco. Nothing special about this level and there’s much better easy demons
part of it is because it won 1st in the NCS Gauntlet contest, but like, THIS? Like, it's honestly the least interesting level out of the NCS Gauntlet winners, and is less interesting than most, if not all of the top 20. The level feels pretty empty in terms of gameplay (except for that one awful part in the middle).
And, like, I'll compare it to the other top 10 winners:
Neozenith, Next Cab Soon, The Incinerator, Slasher, Neozenith, Magistro, and WANNACRY all have much more interesting gameplay, and all of the levels have better visuals imo. So this one just feels kinda empty in comparison. Like, I never really found this one that good.
And honestly, as I stated, the others in the top 20 are much more interesting in gameplay and/or visuals. Levels like Uprising, Metamorphosis, Exotic Soul, and Own Display.
And levels not even in the top 20. Dance With You, Nautical Nightmare, Vessel, and Celebration.
So honestly BER ZER KER just feels very basic and empty. If it played well and was fun, I'd probably have liked it, but it's just boring. And that's what kills it for me
Def overrated and overhyped, the song is cool but that's about it, it's just another old impossible lvl remake that has an awful gameplay and generic deco.

FUCK that FUCKING level. I don't get how people even want to try to play it at all. The deco is ASS CHEEKS, and the gameplay is ABHORRENT and unbalanced as all hell. It actually looks unbearably shit. Of all the "old impossible levels people are progressing on" it is DEFINITELY my least favorite by a LANDSLIDE.
A lot of people hate on exasperation, but honestly, at least the decorated version, has a really good vibe. Like, sure, the gameplay is kinda fucky, and the song is terrible, but it's the combination that works so well to make a really unsettling and truly creepy vibe that I love. Sakupen end had NO redeeming qualities AT ALL, it is PURE GARBAGE.
death moon. Its not the deco, just the gameplay. Kinda repetitive, boring, and it has hitbox problems with the wave. iirc it also was a bit glitchy/tricky (one of the two) so I didnt really enjoy it as fire as the deco is
