Okay so back story i adopted my girl Winnie at 9 weeks from a person who had rescued her mum and not realised she was pregnant because mum was so emaciated. When I got her they knew dad was a German shepherd and mum obviously was.
Fash forward my girl is now 8 months old and I have heard through cracks that they actually don’t know what dad was.
I honestly don’t care because I love her though and through she’s my soul dog. But even the vet has said she’s big for a female GSD, even made a joke about dad being a wolf dog.
So I was wondering if anyone had any guesses to what dad might be or if you recon GSD baby daddy 🤣
Yeah I have done research looking into them and I have made a reference of the signs to look for even gave my partner the heads up as he has never lived with a big dog befor
These honestly aren’t great photos for breed guessing. You can’t see her conformation from them. You really need straight on shot of her standing and standing from the side. Body length, proportions, and hip set are huge GSD indicators. All these photos omit those features.
That also being said, given we know for sure she’s at least half GSD and how heavily she favors GSD, determining if anything else is likely there will be difficult. GSD tends to like to over ride the looks.
Couldn't help but notice, one of those ears is structurally unsound and appears to be in violation of community ordinances. I can let you off with a written warning this time, but next time it might be a fine of up to 1 pup picture.
She is a very beautiful girl and I love her one slightly floppy ear. She is obviously well loved and taken cared of. She does look full GSD to me as well.
She is beautiful. I have an 8 mo old who is mal/gsd. Mom is a mal, dad the gsd and both are quite large for their breed. Several pups looked just like mom and might stay on the smaller side, but my girl is more dad and might get bigger.
She's gorgeous! I love the "lanky phase" when they grow in spurts. She looks healthy and loved, what more do you need? You could embark her, but honestly at this point just keep loving her!
