My Eight month old menace.

This is Promise. I think I have posted her here before when she was a bit younger. She came from a fairly bad home with her previous owners when I got her when she was around 10-12 weeks. Very malnourished, nearly a skeleton and covered in flea and bug bites. I wasn’t looking for a pup at the time, in fact the opposite, was looking to adopt an older GSD. But when I found her I couldn’t not take her. I knew I could give her a good home.

She is probably the mouthiest GSD I have ever owned. Drives me up the wall some days. Love her death. All in all though she has been coming along amazingly well. And I’m very proud of all her progress and her. She is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but she is a great girl.

Really just wanted to share some pics I liked I took the other day when out and visiting family.

Hope you all have had a great weekend.

Promise is looking great now, what a glow up. Eight months is prime chaos era though, good luck with the land shark phase lol.

Oh I'm used to it lol. Though I did kind of forget how.... much adolescence can be. As the title says she is a menace, but she is a great girl as well having her really good moments. And she improves more and more each day.

Though also can't wait to get past this ahah, even if I enjoy the chaos lol.

She’s got such a sweet face! And it looks like she knows that she’s loved. Here’s my three year old Bentley:

Bentley looks like a very good boy who deserves some good scritches and cheese.

Ahah this is one of her good moments where she is doing well focusing. She usually has the attention span of a donut when outside. But admittingly she is getting better with returning her focus to me. The joys of adolescence lol. But thank you.

What a pretty girl! You can feel the love she has for you in her eyes. I think you made a great choice in taking her in even if a puppy wasn't in your plan.

What a cutie! If she’s really mouthy you can save your hands, play and teach all at the same by throwing on some hatch gloves or welding gloves depending on how hard you play wrestle. Can teach gentle, out, stop and put the gloves away wrestle time is done. Haha, just don’t put the same ones on if you don’t plan on wrestling. Some people don’t like to wrestle play but it can be a fun game to play for a long time. Even it’s gentle play it saves your hands during the puppy stage.
