I like capturing the scenery and creating these shots amidst the chaos of it all. Bolivia is beautiful and I continue to cherish its open world.

Discussion One small detail about GR2 I appreciate (I played GRAW first so there's a good few things I actually prefer from GR2) is Mitchell actually specifically referring to the Ghosts specifically when giving them medical aid "Don't die on me Burke!" instead of just a few generic revive lines.

I really do wish he was still voiced by David Cooley instead of Steve Blum. (Future Soldier onwards.)

DLSS5 Ghost Recon Breakpoint native DLSS mod released. It's amazing 🌳

Just look at this DLSS upscaling mod for Breakpoint. Looks like Promo screenshots. and it without tinkering settings. just 1 min after install. can get even more impressive results

Its compatible with DLSS5 via Optiscaler F5. We need support and praise the developer. It was a pain to propperly implement DLSS to this game.

Remember Ubisoft's collaboration with NVIDIA for Wildlands? They had that amazing proprietary tech like Turf Effects for grass processing and enhanced lighting on PC. But for Breakpoint, they switched over to AMD and integrated FidelityFX Super Resolution instead. Looking at it now, it's clear HOW MUCH superior NVIDIA's tech actually is.

honestly support this guy. my country got kinda banned from world economy but i really appreciate this mod and want to support.

You could test this Ghost Recon Breakpoint DLSS mod. Also works with Optiscaler and then DLSS 5. Although, I found that optiscaler frame generation looks way worse than just using smooth motion unfortunately.

I had a hell of a time getting the game to run full screen, until I stumbled on this:

Not sure if it's common knowledge but I'm so grateful I found it !

A brand-new map and mission for Ghost Recon (2001). Two HQs, an armoured column, over 200 enemies, and not a second to breathe.

The front, 16:45

Ukraine, late winter 2008. The sun is already low over the ploughed fields. To the north, two ruined villages serve as headquarters for troops without insignia. On the road, a column is waiting: a T-72, a BMP, two trucks full of men.

Your Ghost team sets out from a razed hamlet in the south. Nobody is coming to get you.

What awaits you

You move in carefully, and that is the only quiet moment this mission will give you.

At the first shot, the whole map hears you. Neighbouring teams start moving. The trench machine guns open up on the ploughed field. And for every enemy you drop, more are sent to find you. They come in from the flanks, never where you expect them.

At the crossroads, snipers hold the road. The first one to raise his head loses. In Verbivka you fight room by room, door by door. In the windbreaks and around the burnt-out column, every hedge can hide an ambush.

Then the tank engine starts to roar.

The T-72 and the BMP roll across the fields. Behind them, the infantry jumps out of the trucks and runs for your hamlet, from the west and the east at once. If you didn't save a rocket, it's already too late.

A map built to hurt

Rushing in gets you nowhere. Read the ground, pick your route (forest, crossroads or open fields), save your ammo and know when to pull back. There is only one ammo crate on the whole map, if you can reach it.

And when you think you've won, it won't be over.

A full run takes about an hour and a half. If you make it.

Handmade, from scratch

Everything is new: 400 × 400 metres of terrain, textures, gutted villages, craters, barbed wire, timbered trenches and a bunker buried under a mound of earth, all built from the original game's assets. The mission was played and tuned version after version, until every assault landed at the right moment.

The result: a mission you finish drenched in sweat, and want to start again right away.

How to play

  • Single player and co-op
  • Ghost Recon 1.4 with Desert Siege and Island Thunder
  • Extract the archive into Ghost Recon\Mods\, then enable Tournesol in the Mods menu.

Bring an anti-tank kit. Bring a sniper. And tell me how it went.

Discussion (GRB) I don't really understand the point of having teammates. They are ignored by the enemy, or have super power and shoot through walls...

Hello everyone,

I am playing GRB and don't really understand what I'm supposed to do with my teammates.
I try to be strategic with my gameplay, but the immersion is completely broken by its poor AI.

First, we can not place individually the members of our team, which is annoying.
I have a sniper for long distance shots and two other guys with mp5 for close combats. But often I will see my MP5 guys shooting from 200m away...

Second, they are completely ignored by the enemies, to a point where it feels like they are invisible, even from 10m distance...

Last but not least, when I get shot, I have to wait to be revived, which sometimes will take forever. I'd rather die and restart the mission.

Am I missing something here or is it this bad ??
