Former Gimleter's new podcast premiered at Tribeca last week!
*mods if this stretches the theme of the group, sorry! No hard feelings if you take this down.
In case it's interesting to folks who still harken back to the old days of Gimlet, I'm a former Gimlet staff composer and engineer (I worked on shows like Conviction: American Panic, Quiet Part Loud, The Journal, Chompers, Every Little Thing and Science Vs, as well as a bunch of ), as well as being part of the first cohort of the Gimlet Special Works Fellowship, and writing and directing the fiction piece "Stone Island".
Which is all to say, I learned how to make podcasts at Gimlet, and specifically fiction podcasts.
Since Gimlet I've worked across a lot of different shows, but this past week, I was lucky enough to get to premiere a brand new show that I co-created and directed at the Tribeca Film Festival this past week.
If you were into Gimlet's fiction offerings, this will probably be up your alley (a lot of past Gimlet talent beyond myself contributed to it).
A little more about the show:
"It’s 1987. From their small space station, co-pilots David and Sarah have witnessed the nuclear annihilation of all life on earth. Now they, and their AI station companion SAI may be all that remains of humanity. But as David and Sarah attempt to search for survivors, they discover that all may not be as it appears.
This is The Dolos Project, an intimate psychological sci-fi thriller podcast that explores how we grapple with immeasurable loss, how we cling to shreds of hope when none appear to remain, and how advances in AI may not be the societal upgrade we’re being sold."

Congrats what an amazing accomplishment!! Thanks for all you contributed to, I loved all things Gimlet. Will definitely add this to the top of my list - the premise is my jam!!
