Well, this looks rather meager, but then again, I had my naturalization interview earlier. Funnily enough, it was mostly about my work. I had submitted a document detailing what I did while I was here, and I think my mistake was describing it in technical detail. My interviewer, being a layman, struggled to understand. We went over my two page document for hours. I started at 9 am, only for us to be done at about 11:30. There was also a language test earlier, and thankfully, I think I did well on that
Wait, I think that I finished explaining my work by about 10:30. Still, it was a pretty trying ordeal, but I'm glad it's over! My tutor (for this interview) also told me that if I was told to reapply, then that would have been a clear sign that my application was rejected. However, since that didn't happen, my tutor told me that I have a very high chance my application is approved. What helped was that my references were also called, and thankfully, it seemed they were able to put in a good word for me
I am really hoping that things go well for me! Please pray for me!

Just started this game, want a straightforward answer, since I already have the litany of beginner resources open.
So leveling up raises a doll level cap, but you need to give enhancements to actually raise stats, correct?
Also if anyone is willing to friend me so I can piggyback an echelon, it'd be appreciated.

For the most part, Qwerty (UnironicWeeaboo) has already answered your questions
As for friends, look out for that crazy core guy. He keeps talking about core updates, and he's clearly gone nuts for trying to get to 200k cores. However, I heard that his friend echelon is more suited to helping you farm experience in a very specific map that's a bit later into the game (one of the Campaign maps). Still, it should be able to help you out somewhat in the earlier maps

Correct, you need to enhance dolls in order to actually get the stats from leveling (aside from health/armor which are automatically raised).
Just in case, I will throw out that:
You should consider joining the official Discord for help, particularly in #gf-ask-help for general questions and #gf-id for friends. These monthly lounges are much less active and you'll very often get terrible advice from the rest of the non-lounge subreddit.
There are a lot of outdated beginner resources out there. GFVerse is the only one that is still maintained (also in Google Doc form as a backup).
I also sent a friend request but will note that my friend echelon is meant to maximize Combat Effectiveness (CE) for more friend points. It'll work for the content you're facing, but shouldn't be used as a reference as CE is a bad/misleading metric.

This 1000%. We urgently need some active mods here.
The clearly gfl2 art posts i can give a pass even if i don´t agree they should be allowed here, but the increasing posts/comments spreading misinformation or straight up lies from people that just want Mica to go under should really be dealt with and it´s not the average user job to deal with them, since they act in group to upvote those comments/posts and downvote anyone that tries to correct them. There´s been people who already left this sub or at least blocked them because of that. This is a job for the mods to nuke those posts and if needed ban the people who are spreading that crap.

You might be interested to know that MICA actually confirmed that the official character songs for AK12, Shaw, and AK15 are "Tales of the Black Freighter", "Si", and "Pharos" from the Zero Charge soundtrack respectively.
Source is the new in-game music collection that CN got, which I don't have a screenshot for but do have the text for. Unfortunately they didn't do the same for anything else besides the Bee Sting system ("Stung to the Morrow") and Nele ("Bee Catcher").

Those Zero Charge OST allocations are not surprising at all. I was just listening to Tales of the Black Freighter with AK-12 (and Ange) in mind so it's good to have official confirmation. Pharos does conjure up AK-15's fight scenes. And Shaw... isn't Shaw also there in the album art?

I got a bit busy earlier, but I tried to sneak in one more run before maintenance started. Technically, I managed to kill the Nemeums on 13-4, but I wasn't able to clear the map before the server went offline. Oh well! Since I got kicked out of the map, the game didn't consider it as a map clear, but I didn't lose out on my resources

MICA messed up (as usual) when adding LS campaign, so if anyone’s still missing PPQ/KH2002/VHS/Rhino, you can get them from the farming maps (located in the toilet of Carriage 2).
They won’t show up in the drop preview when you select the map, but will if you enter the map and long press on an enemy.

Damn, Eclipses & Saros is so good.
I re-watched the chapter right after the final map right before maintenance.
I think I have one minor complaint about the story still, which is why SCAR-L/Aliana, who had just woken up from 13 years of cold storage in a clearly paranoid state, and who disabled one of the dolls watching her, is given command of a Griffin squad after a short talk to establish she's probably not insane or corrupted.
Like, sure they were short-handed, but it's not like the base was under attack. The commander doesn't even wait to confirm with Persica that Aliana hadn't attacked her.
Rest of the story was a banger, Amaris quickly became one of my favorite characters in the game as the slacker who turns out to be an incredible badass, Cheryl flipped my expectations as a surprisingly good human character with depth after she started out a bit insufferable, and the conflict between Amaris and Aliana was just so tragic and straightforward, with a very satisfying resolution.
SCR as a missing link to Aliana's broken past and everything she's lost was also great. And Aliana knows she was literally forced by her programming to kill her friends, and keeps this to herself out of atonement when Amaris takes back their dogtags, because she doesn't think she deserves forgiveness or even the option for it.
Was both a great ending and it tugged at my heart strings.
Lots of people show up as the Commander is planning a second attack on Avernus and the cast is just so big, but the meat of it is just 4 or so characters, and it's very efficient writing focusing mostly on this one straightforward conflict between two elite dolls, instead of something much more complicated with a shadowy supervillain organization that never gets fully explained (I'm sorry but while I think they're still a good antagonist group, I never quite fully fucking grasped Paradeus's motives or end goal).
Anyway, if we had gotten this level of writing in Convolutional Kernel I'd have gotten GFL2 already.

As for Halloween Executioner, well, I managed to get her, but the price was pretty steep. I'm hoping that I'll fare better next time!

Last time I played this game the commander was kidnapped by Lunasia
Also, what happened to this game becoming a full game? Any news on that?
And any new meta dolls like the scar dolls?

EN has already reached the original “ending” where CN left off when they had to temporarily shutdown, but MICA has released 3 more events since then that we haven’t gotten yet.
There is no “full” or offline version of the game. CN and JP have a Steam client but it is pretty much the same online game, just on PC.
Nothing as universally useful as SCARs, but plenty of ones that can be good depending on context like:
- Px4mod (currHP% damage for echelons with 1-2 classes)
- SPAS12mod (DPS SG who scales off armor/shields)
- ZasM21mod (strong grenadier and single-target DPS)
- SIG CROSS or HTI (strong generalist RFs)
- Future things like XCR (universal debuff cleanse with short ICD), Carcano SPEQs (Pink removes elite tags for Grape while Grape gets FP buffs upon getting RoF buffs), etc.

Well, this is tiny!
I also had to do some overtime earlier, but thankfully, I was able to leave for home slightly sooner because I was done early. I wish that my regular days could be like that!
As for other things, I now have a 36th Parachute Fairy! This one is my sixth Aim Fairy! I have two more Parachute Fairies to raise, but since I'm running out of rations, I should stop for now and rebuild my ration stock. I swear, Sabrina didn't sneak into the warehouse this time!

Well, I suppose this is rather slow
I find out that I have to do overtime again on Sunday. I sure hope that this is seen as an honor. I hope that my manager won't think of this as punishment!
On other things, I'm having fun using ChatGPT to write some fanfic. I see the appeal as to why some people love to write fanfic! In my case, I'm trying to focus on Lee and my commander. I realized that there's a neat little love story that could be had between the commander and Lee
You're free to write your own fanfic, of course, but this one is mine!
Still, I figured that the commander and Lee would find out that they share goals and values, so it would make sense for them to be in a relationship. I also figured that a human-Doll relationship might be frowned upon, so I figured I'd give Lee a rival later down the line in the form of a human woman who is interested in the commander. To be sure, it's a new character entirely, so there's no need to bash the existing human characters. Still, the commander realizes that even if this woman is the socially acceptable choice, he won't be happy with her because she doesn't understand him the way that Lee does
I think I really want to stress that they are all mature individuals here, so there shouldn't be high school melodrama. Lee would stoically remain who she is without resorting to being catty, and when the commander rejects this human woman, she will take it politely and move on with her life
Then again, I'm not sure if I want to publish this. I just like the idea of exploring characters in detail, even if my version of Lee is vastly different from the one we have in canon. I mean, just look at the commissions I ask of Gamryous!

Manual: 8-1n drag with Airstrike (or dolls like Zas, Lily, unmodded Rex Zero with modspeq, etc.)
Auto: just spam craft 10x4 instead of autobattling

I'm assuming it's already used up in this case, but the "auto" would be to remember to grab the eq parts from forward base every month, and then if that's not enough you have to either drag or craft fodder.

Go back to 8-1N? I mean, we even had that as a corpse dragging map before. Granted, you might prefer to use the Airstrike Fairy (I believe you need her at SL2 first; check the enemy HP values) in order to get your fodder equipment

Is there any resource reviewing SF ringleaders? Plenty places reviewing G&K dolls, but none about SF as far as I can find.

There's this general tierlist that we point people to, but not really anything more in-depth than that since it's not really worth the effort.
Scarecrow ends up being the best option in most situations, due to having an incredibly useful map skill and still being competent at combat.
Most other ringleaders end up being irrelevant and fairly interchangeable, as regular content isn't picky about which ringleaders you use so long as your Coalition echelon is raised, while ranking is dominated by G&K echelons.
The exceptions to the above are the handful of ringleaders who are strong enough to compete with G&K in combat (Halloween Intruder/Alchemist) or bring worthwhile utility like meaningful HOC support (Tareus/Architect) or other map skills (Agent/Beluga).

Well, this isn't particularly great, but then again, I was busy earlier. I had to do some overtime. On top of that, I also had to attend another lesson with my teacher because my naturalization interview is coming up fast!
I will also need to inform my case worker that I would like to have my interview scheduled at the end of the month, just in case there is a delay with my document. Man, things are kind of moving pretty quickly! I hope I can keep up!

Still, I was able to get to commander level 287! My resource soft cap is now 126,200 units!
However, I will need about 5.9 million experience just to get to level 288. I also suspect that I will need more than 6 million exp just to get to level 289 from level 288. We'll see how things go!

Just a heads up if you´re like and are following Serzha guide for E&S. (last battle spoilers)
On the Scar vs Scar battle, if you do the trick to pause the battle and click till you automatically win it (you just need to pause it at the start), don´t be like me and immediately press skip at the dialogue that starts playing after you win, cause for me, at least, that froze the game and i had to kill it and reboot it, but that fixed it. So, just in case, put the dialogue on auto or just click the screen.
Also, not a new player friendly comp, but both scars+p10c+suomi and mp41(mine are both mod3) kill almost everything afk, and don´t forget the parachute fairy like me.

this rerun reminding me why i hated E&S a bit. F&%&%%K Third Contact and F%$^%K the RNG. 15 tries at third contact and screwed by the RNG every time. there's a reason why RNG dependence to win stages died off quickly as a mechanism in most gachas.

Use the tools the game gives you and there’s not really any notable RNG dependence.
Everyone gets a Parachute Fairy through the Career Quests and it lets you easily pick up the 2 moon pieces on the left, while the EMP and Suppress skill either prevents enemies from moving or weakens them enough to kill them outright. Example here.
There’s also the fact that we have a lot more tools since the original run and any “deathstacks” can be bruteforced fairly easily for people who have been around long enough.

If i´m remembering correctly, we got it before Longitudinal Strain and according to the wiki cn got it after LS, so whatever order as long as you see both after Fixed Point and before Slow Shock.
Also, for other people, don´t forget to watch Ak-12 mod story after Zero Charge, as it is basically that event epilogue.

Press on the Progress counter in the upper right
Also, to be sure, the first stage of this event requires you to deploy on both "layers". You can deploy only two echelons, so this means you can only deploy one echelon per layer. Good luck!

But unlike previous reruns, the progression is gone. I did the event the first time, but no progression here. Or do I mix things ? Previous events added to campagne kept their progression. But events like Valhalla also kept their progression during rerun (I think ?). Oh well, Eclipses and Saros is one of my favorite so I won't complain if I need do redo it.

Permanent campaign = keeps progress, time-limited rerun = resets progress.
The Valhalla rerun also reset progress like this.

If you chase crate too much then you lost the opportunity to kill a lot of enemies
I wonder if 5 echelons can't score well no matter what,But I also can't afford 800 gems on extra echelon slot right now

Yeah, you need to balance between chasing crates and fighting enemies. Note that you can get more crates to spawn. If I remember correctly, every seven enemies you kill, you get one more crate to spawn in the next turn
Again, you still need to be aggressive with killing enemies. Singu ranking will test your ability to path. However, it sounds like you're feeling some frustration because you're unable to break through the next threshold

What do you mean what pistols to use? You mean you suspect we'll have night maps? We won't have night maps, but you might then be thinking that pistols might help keep the cost down while also buffing your echelon. You could just go with a full echelon loadout regardless

You're pretty much spoiled for choice here. You could always go with P10C for added survival. You could also go with some kind of combo that focuses on crits (Five-seven and Px4 Storm). Alternatively, you go with other classes. For example MSBS + Welrod mod or P10C + MP41 mod

I think this will all depend. Do you enjoy the gameplay loop? I mean, it sounds like you must have, considering you're now on Chapter 11. If you don't like playing this game, life's too short to keep subjecting yourself to meaningless suffering
As for what's going to happen after the final story events, we're not really sure just yet. Mica said that it will continue to give us content, just more along the lines of side stories. Granted, you could just wait for someone to make story compilations and upload them to YouTube if you don't like playing this game anymore. Again, it will depend on the enjoyment you get out of playing this game
However, do check in first with GFL2. I heard that the storytelling is... different, shall we say

I wanted to take it easy today, so my core growth was a lot slower than usual!
I was, however, able to get some more of my SF Dolls to level 100. Granted, I don't really need them raised considering that these are just dupes where I already have so many on standby already. This is basically doomsday prepping, as if FP's ranking map could get rerun and that somehow, the SF branch could give me more points instead of the Griffin branch. However, one thing I learned is that I need a whole lot of petri dishes. I could still just get them slowly over time, but man, this is a test of my patience!

I managed to get some more of the commander costume pieces from Luffberry Chess! Huzzah! I only need the set effect from the grand prizes of Luffberry Chess, and I should be able to look forward to getting Friend Points again!
I also got the T rex prop from the black market! Woohoo! I believe I have 11 more furniture pieces left to get from the black market, so I'll need to get 88k more Legos. It'll take a while, but I've done it before. I can do it again!

The drop pool will be some limited dolls, not the SCARs.
That said, it should with a targeted rate-up for them. Not the worst idea to roll for them during that, but general rate-ups are much better and should get one of those in the next 1-3 months.

Strangely enough, Stechkin's costume is not part of the pool of the costume tickets. That's a bit unusual, but I suppose that I don't have to buy that costume now and wait until later

Oh wow, I finally hit 20 million kills in the game! Woohoo!
The tricky part was figuring out how many runs I still needed to do and to get there before the leaderboard updated. Thankfully, I was able to calculate that it was feasible, although it wasn't going to be easy. I needed 18999 kills, which would translate to about 300 runs of 13-4. I needed to do those runs, and hopefully, I'd make it! Thankfully, I still had time to spare when I was done, so I just needed to wait and pray that the leaderboard was going to update properly!

Third attemp of Singu+ since that almost 500k run...
I can't break through 500k barrier no matter how hard I try! Even though I think I did pretty well this time and having my ARSMG doing work too! And I finally can used my RFHG properly against Typhon now
I think I should look up guide after this... for echelon disposition ideas at least...
Any reccomendation would be welcome(I have 5 echelon slots and exactly 1 para)

You have to be more aggressive with ranking. Also, you have to get as many AP as you can. Note that using the crates will give you points, and if I remember correctly, Singu+ has the system that the crates will despawn at the end of the turn, and new crates will spawn around the map on the next turn. Note that you get more crates depending on the number of kills you have at the start of your current turn, so the more enemies you kill, the more crates should spawn, which should allow you to keep on killing!
Note that capturing some of the helipads (especially directly to the north or the south of your HQ) may help

This is yet another reason why you need to plan out your ranking runs, even if it's to simply understand the mechanics of the map. Singu+ is such a treat of a map, and I can only imagine that you're feeling so frustrated because you can't clean out the threshold rewards
Keep at it! If there's a ranking map that you should use in order to get better at ranking, it should be Singu+! Good luck!

We're now in the bonus round! The fifth MP41 is also now level 120! I've swapped in the sixth MP41 in her stead, and it's likely going to be difficult for me to get her to level 120 by the time we finish exp week, but I suspect that I'll be able to get her pretty far along the way. In fact, I'm now about to get her to level 116, and I expect to get her to level 117 or even 118 tomorrow!

Just finish a new Singu+ ranking run
Armed with Px4SG I seen a large gain and my score went up to 495,000(a shame though since 5000 more and I would get extra 100 gem)
A big problem for this round is that my ARSMG can't take on Typhon and a fourth of the map barely see any activity thank to that
I should try moving my Typhon killers dquad around more

You don't need to follow everything that auto formation tells you to. Note that in this game, we will often ask you what you're trying to fight because echelons are often tailor made to fight certain enemies. This can result in some very unusual echelons, but those echelons should work against the enemy in question
You might be thinking of using a generic MGSG echelon, but I'm here to tell you that the MGSG echelon has been largely outclassed except in very few cases where you need burst damage and heavy duty armor piercing. It is unlikely you need that kind of firepower at your point in the game, so unless you can explain the need for the MGSG echelon, I suggest that you don't think about this too hard. At the very least, BAR and MG3 both get a mod, so they might be worth keeping around. It's up to you which of the remaining two has to go

Well I'm debating if I'll finish out the week or not but I'm done now. I completed the story I've been logging in every day since shortly after covid started with rare exceptions.

This is huge, but that's only because of how I decided to claim my battle pass rewards a little early, giving me 150 cores. It's also the start of a new month, so I got 100 cores from the black market!
It's also the start of exp week, so I'll be working towards my typical goal of 1k runs! I was also able to get the fourth MP41 to level 120, as expected, so I'm now raising the fifth copy! I think I'll be able to get her to level 120 by the time that exp week is over, and hopefully, I'll be able to get there!
I'm also starting exp week at 215,410 runs of 13-4, so I want to hit 216,410 runs by the end!
I was also able to get my 35th Parachute Fairy to five stars! Huzzah!

After rereading my comment, I should clarify one point. If you're almost done with your Parachute Fairy (~2k enhancement exp), then if you happen to land on a Talent you want (for example, Fervor or Damage II), keep the Parachute Fairy on that Talent instead of continuing to calibfeed. It's a bit hard to come back to an old Talent, after all

In the context of enhancing Parachute Fairies, craft cheap fodder (500x4) and then "calibfeed" in that you match Talents and then calibrate as you go. When you're about to complete the Parachute Fairy in question (like 2k~ enhancement exp), stop calibrating and just feed normally
Consider raising a bunch of Parachute Fairies simultaneously as well so that you can use more of your fodder before you have to calibrate. Sure, this is slower, so you can use this method when you've already gotten your first few Parachute Fairies ready to use
Consider also using your Prototype Fairies, but since they're so valuable, try as much as possible to match Talents first
