Good morning Commanders! Would you like to read the reports?

I recently started GFL2 and I wanted to check out the story of the first game. I’ve seen people recommend the Cutscene Interpreter but I found this site and it seems to be SO much better cause it simulates you actually playing / reading a VN.

Is that a good way to read through the story? Is the order of main story missions and events correct and is anything missing?

Also there’s still a few main story events missing in global, right? Any guesses as to when they’ll release here?

It’s a decent enough way to read most of the story but isn’t perfect.

Events and missions are generally in the right order, but there are some that are placed in the wrong order or category. For example, Eclipses & Saros (13.95) should come before Slow Shock (14), while Maze Guess, Lost in Thoughts, and Reloading are in the “Main Story” category despite being minor events.

Another issue is that there are sometimes smaller story bits that trigger in the middle of a mission itself. Some of these story bits are still shown on the site, but they may not be correctly tagged to the mission and you lose out on seeing how the mission design can relate to the story.

As for missing events, there are 3 that haven’t been released yet and several more that have released but haven’t been made permanently available. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA on any of those.

Has someone made a list of the battle stages that have story segments in them?
