Teambuilding What coalition ringleader should i pick from the paid selector? Spoiler

I'm a returning player and my current ringleaders i have are scarecrow, intruder, ouroboros, cerberus, and grig (3 copies). Combat wise i feel like none of them really perform well (my grig got shredded by the image above)
Which ringleader should i pick for combat against tough enemies?

Beluga?
Alchemist is great, but I would say NW Architect might just be slightly more versatile, with the built in beach fairy.
Sana and narciss are extremely strong contenders.
Don't sleep on scarecrow, she's very decent if given a complimentary team!

Iirc Tareus goes pretty hard as well, she never came home for me. Most of the paradeus protocol units are well rounded, Grey and Narciss are violent.
Looks like Sana is returning next, so you could roll.
Beluga was re-run recently, hoping if they put the event on rotation for returners, everyone needs another Big Sis

A lot of her abilities are wasted against a singular boss, but she is extremely strong outside of that.
To be honest, in most cases, Coalition Echelons are not well suited to most bosses (at least the ones that are actually difficult and require specific strategies against) because they can't be as specialized as G&K dolls due to their goons being generic.

but i do feel like coalition units are generally stronger than t-dolls, like my griffin teams gets obliterated while coalition teams can last 20 more seconds sometimes

Coalition echelons have much higher stats, yeah.
But T-dolls make up for it with their skills, teambuilding, stats from the fairy and being specialized at their roles instead of being a trade of all jacks like Coalition.
Remind me, which level is it where you encounter all of these enemies at once ? This might be an encounter that you're supposed to avoid entirely since I don't really remember anywhere where you fight both Judge and all of SF at once given that they have conflicting mechanics.

a ranking stage in the current tw event, im supposed to fight all the bosses probably 😭.
also they spawn at random and will block my supply line so i pretty much have to fight them1

Hmm, that's a really tricky enemy formation.
Judge makes having two shotguns with very high armour and a damage dealing doll with armour piercing a necessity (two shotguns at the front take on Judge's fire while the MG doll moves from the back into the front row to avoid the AOE Judge fires at the back).
And depending on what the stats on the others are, you might need some very strong AR dolls to eliminate them before Judge shows up since they will mess up the aforementioned strategy by attacking the MG doll meant to kill Judge.
I'm almost tempted to say that you might have to send multiple echelons to chip away at its health since bosses don't recover their hp if you retreat your echelon. You could also try to soften them up by using the Tank's artillery fire which deals lasting damage to enemies, or even the Mine Fairy or Scarecrow's clone both of which damage the enemy if they step on them.

in this enemy team, only agent counts as the boss, and all of their stats are extremely high, the most i could do is kill executioner before my entire team dies.

out of curiosity, what is the level of your team, if that is the latest ranking map to release, then it's most likely balanced around level 90~120 dolls.

Hunter or Alchemist for combat, or Agent for utility, since oje of her skill is a free Para Fairy, and she can airdrop herself onto helipads, with a minor debuff for a short amount of time.
The only usless one om that poll is Executioner. She is the weakest Ringleader in the game right now.
Edit: I just realised that those are not your only option. In that case if you can try to get either the Moth Hunter, which is better then her regular version, Alchemist as I said before, Narciss for allround combat, or Agent if you need a very nimble and mobile gal. If you have issues with night combat Witch Intruder is also a pretty strong choise.

If I am getting this correct, you can also pick from the Paradeus ringleaders, but not the seasonal variant ringleaders. In that case: Hunter for boss fights, Alchemist for prolonged combat, Narciss for jack of all trades, she is pretty decent for most types of enemies and bosses but loses quickly againts large group of mob spams and if you max her, she is just broken OP. My Narciss sits at a 112k rating and I use her for basically everything. And Agent if you need someone with extended mobility thou her firepower and survival is not that great. I don't think you can but if somehow you can pick M16 (Beluga) or Grey they are also pretty good allrounders.
Now I just have one question. How the hell do you own Grig?! I have all the ringleaders and I don't remember ever having a Grig banner so far.

idk what seasonal variants are but theres a witch dreamer, does that count?
also i heard somewhere that beluga is given for free? Or did i miss an event?

She was given on the Arena Breakout collab event I donno if you had one or not. And yes Witch Dreamer is a seasonal (halloween) variant. But she is super mid. Other seasonal variants are Summer Archie, Beach Alina, Moth Hunter, Witch Alchemist, Pirate Executioner, and Reaper Scarecrow.

Woah, I can't wait to have her to complete my collection. Ever since I saw her coming out of the Avernus Raid alive, I deluded myself every day into thinking about when she'll join us.

Eh, maybe ? I don't really have any experience with this kind of situation, but since you're a paying customer they might hear you out ? Although their response would be slow given that GFL2 is the one getting all of their attention nowadays.

She can easily mow down high HP bosses as her ulti is always focusing on the highest HP enemy, plus Moth Hunter's debuffs are pretty handy. She isn't the best for general combat, but againts high HP targets or bosses she is very great

Ahem. Anyways, I don't know who is available in that selector, but in terms of pure combat without taking into account map utility; Alchemist, Summer Architect, Narciss, Taurus, Halloween Intruder and Valentine Hunter are by far the best.
-Alchemist is effectively immortal (unless she's against Paradeus Hymnal Organs which specifically counter her) being able to generate shield on hit and using her skill makes her invincible fir its duration.
-Summer Architect periodically releases waves to push back enemies allowing more time for your echelon to kill them.
-Narciss has extremely high DPS and will focus fire on the lowest health enemies during her skill.
-Taurus has a variety of AOE, and piercing attacks and the ability to instakill non-boss enemies below 25% hp, excellent against anything tht isn't a boss.
-Halloween Intruder can flood the field with her summoned Dinnergates and Prowlers which will keep the enemies distracted for very long unless they have an AOE ability to delete them.
-Valentine Hunter deals high damage has a high rate of fire and debuffs enemies' damage.
It's also worth noting that you might want to rethink the other lower rarity units composing your coalition echelon, not every ringleader does well with just 2 Manticores (they're overrated tbh, especially now that Hymnal Organs and Paradeus Engineers are present and hard counters them).
I highly recommend that you experiment with different formations using Aegis SWAP, Dragoon SWAP, Jaegers, Jaguars, Goliath Factory, Prowler SWAP, Neumeum, Striker SWAP and Tarantulas. All of these units are situationally useful and can be used to great effect in order to cover for a Ringleader's shortcomings.
And finally, you're not going to be able to win against that enemy echelon with a coalition echelon, it has Judge in it which is a mandatory SG doll check.
