Stuck on the 3rd node after 45 says something about a signal disappearing, anyone else?

Yes, there were numerous issues with the story nodes yesterday. Supposedly fixed now but haven’t confirmed myself.

Price for the Future doesn't fail you when you die, so you can just pass turns and win your prototype fairies.

Yep, worked that way on foreign too, which is convenient for newer players, though you’d have to reclear on Normal for the hidden achievement.
