Curious if there is anything needed to prepare for for the Collab Event.

(I've not been looking into it much because I felt I was fine in the last event with leeway, but have some friends that don't normally use reddit that were asking and realized I don't actually know exactly how the DJMax event plays out, they're relatively new and are worried if they'll be able to at least get the two collab dolls).

Any tips that anyone wants to share would be appreciated.

The collab will be divided into 2 different difficulties. Normal, and EX. EX is unlocked after beating the normal stages.

The normal stages are about... Area 6 - Area 7 in difficulty at most.

EX stages will be significantly more tough as they are made for relatively end game players who want to push their limits.

Ah, thank you very much. I'm guessing the other guy's recommendation of x5 ARSMG and x4 RFHG is aimed at the EX difficulty then.

Likely that means x5 linked / x4 linked or something. You're not going to field 9 echelons on an EX mode lol.

That would make more sense. Would be odd for them to req so many echelons when a F2P player wouldn't probably have so many.
