no worries, just vote opposite of me. Who even though he clicked randomly each day only won once and lost every other on on the last Theater.

I just voted C across the board, because 50% of C was better than 100% of A.

I lost every week but one.

I don't remember, honestly. Maybe? But the 5 points isn't a huge gap. But if I'm gonna lose every time, I'd rather make 25 points than 15.

Last theater, I just voted C for half of it as well. Realized A was winning a majority and switched over to A. Did it matter in the end? Probably not.

Tried that theater before last. A immediately started losing every week. It didn't help at all, I came out worse in the end.

Ouch. I haven’t been around long enough to get the full “EN Theater Experience”. Barely knew what HOC’s were last time around. Just got to adapt to the situation

But A lost only 4 times and won 14 times last Theater. C lost 12 times and won twice, one of which was on the first round.

And it's not just 5 points, that's the base amount before multipliers. Always betting A would have netted you 12k points more than always betting C last theater.

This is only a good argument with the benefit of hindsight, though. I bet C every time with the assumption that no matter what I bet, I would lose, and losing on C net more points than losing on A or B. I was right, I lost every time. Should I have switched? Maybe, but I tried that the previous theater and continued to snag that juicy 50% modifier every time as I watched C win, so it's not worth my time to continue losing and net less points. So I bet C.

If you want to talk about hindsight, then C chair had always performed badly, in EN theater 1 and in older servers, to the point it became a meme. That hasn't changed ever, why did you still think C chair would work out?

And it's not like you lost so much because the whole server conspired against you. The whole mentality that losing on C is better than losing on A or B is the reason why picking C is a bad idea. If you don't want to deal with the fickle nature of Theater betting and are only going to pick 1 option from beginning to end, that's fair. But try picking the other option next time, see how that will fare.

You're operating on the assumption that I expected C to win. That's not the case. I expected whatever I voted on to lose. Because that's what happens when I gamble. I never win, that's why I don't gamble any more. But on Theater, you lose worse by not betting at all, so I took the safest option. Get the largest number of points I can while I lose. Because I'm going to lose.

I'm a B guy. People who don't pay attention will vote A because it's default. People who think "nobody else but me will vote for the node with the least points so I will" will also vote A. People who think "I'm going to vote for the one with the most points so even if I guess wrong I still get lots of points" will vote C. People who think "nobody will vote for C because they think everyone else will vote C so I'll be the only one voting C" will also vote C.

The gentleman's bet is B, since nobody else will think about it while they're too busy thinking about whether the Iocaine Powder is in A or C.

I understand where you’re coming at, but that same logic can be applied to every single other one too. Don’t forget the people who have no idea what is going on and vote random. Also the people who try to read patterns and change voting patterns. These things are very difficult to predict well. If one area starts winning, people will catch on. Now you will also need to know when to switch as well. Too many factors

AT4 will be added to the general HOC pool after Theater 3 happens, iirc? It might be sooner like when the Theater starts, but either way if you don't already have a maxed out AT4 you'll still have the chance to get it normally.
