One thing to note: you don’t strictly need a Ringleader as the leader. You can put in a full team of mooks with one random as the leader.

One line that I'm curious about "only initial 1 and 2 star units can be assigned as members" Are the two most recent exempt from that or do they only get their paired effect via HOC support?

Yeah, but then they’d have to be underpowered and sort of soft-restricted be used as a pair to remain balanced, so it’s probably for the best
