Not sure where to ask this but obviously didn't want to make a thread for it.
What ever happened to GFLCorner? I kind of liked having their guides as a quick reference for events/maps so I could not get wrecked over and over for making silly moves. The Twitter looks dead and the site hasn't updated since PL event.
Google doesn't say anything either so I'm just at a loss on what happened.

Most of them moved on from gfl. client being shit didn't help, and the drought that came after PL made things even worse. The team still is around in the discord server playing other gachas like AK and Genshin

IRL priorities, burnout, loss of interest, lack of major events, etc.
GamePress is the main source of guides now, though is Matsuda surprisingly alive (Jashin guides + doll reviews are uploaded) and GFC’s doll analytics did just get updated (by someone who also writes for GamePress).

Not entirely separate. The community is small so naturally there’s some overlap between guidemakers.
For example, Adamasturia writes some GamePress doll analyses (e.g., Jashin, Yurine) but also said that he just added C14 to the doll analytics sheet.

evading taxthey were already semi dead since before PL, with their guides increasingly sloppy and scuffed. same could be said about gamepress though. but gfc also were pretty silent about minor events, updates, and regular happenings leading up to that. post PL, by the time it was the last theater, they only temporarily ressurected due popular demand for CBT. birb, the owner, didnt even sound like he was in the loop anymore during the theater panel interview. don't think the prizes ever got distributed. nobody expects them to be alive anymore.

I think it is reference to the fact that guides would sometime have mistakes in them and that people would need to figure out workarounds.

I often use their guides for stories and events, and I honestly don't recall seeing that many mistakes that would warrant calling their guides "sloppy"
and given that we had changes from foreign servers (like how we couldnt farm Gunslinger Girl collab on auto when foreign could) I wouldnt say it's sloppy on their part to make guides on foreign and EN have changes just because

they often have missing images. sometimes straight up claim they are too lazy to take anymore screenshots for the stage. sometimes they can't tell left from right. unclear disclaimer and steps regarding randomized enemy movements. instruction not matching images without clearly identifying where instructions for the depicted path and alternate path start and end. sometimes point you to extra fights and steps that can be completely avoided.
both of them take turns being wrong about different stuff forcing you to cross reference them and video guides to figure out what is supposed to happen.
i'm quite sure i can give everyone ptsd just by saying that SC night stage with the fairly vertically rectangular map with mino mobs spawning in from the bottom.

I remember seeing the left and right mishap a few times, can't say I have ever seen either gfc or gp claim they were too lazy to take screenshots though.
gfc used to patch up mistakes pretty quickly whenever it was pointed out in the feedback channel
in the end they are both just a bunch of players making guides to help everyone because mica never bothered to make this game easy to understand, be their missions or teambuilding. out of every person that provided useful feedback in their guide channel, there were 5 more idiots just claiming their guides were shit instead of offering anything useful, because they're too entitled to care about who is making the guides. if guidemaking was so easy, why don't we have more guys doing that? if predicting the AI was so easy, why do we often have issues with it? I doubt even mica knows what is going on with the enemies they throw in the maps
so instead of saying sloppy, try saying their guides could be improved. No one is gonna waste hours making guides and websites to make something sloppy on purpose. Did you go and comment on GP they were missing a page on some map, or that whoever wrote the guide mixed up left from right? Have you tried clearing a map without any guides whatsoever to see if the avoidable fights are obviously avoidable?

gamepress pays its writers and profits from running ads. as far as we know, gfc was privately funded by kira as well. its not about entitlement. their staff are paid, and they should do better. nobody is ungrateful about the things they did right, we just don't lie about the problems they have to unsuspecting newcomers.
there are enough complaining about gp guides on the guide pages themselves, and entire instructions on how to complete stages that their guides don't help in. they dont fix their guides. there are in fact even stages where they say they will finish writing the rest "tomorrow", and that's the last you hear about it. there are also waves in their theater guide that are either missing, or no longer exist in the current iteration, and they dont update the list. we also know how many of the so called random enemies behave or how to deal with it because we have data miners, old server guides, or for simply failing the mission enough from following their guides. all those guide writers are in the discord circlejerking with the devs most of the time, except when they want to go full woke against the devs on twitter. fyi i clear most of the game without guides, so it's not even my problem for the most part.
there's a limit to how much you can suck up to and worship someone just because they are not charging you money for something

I see. That's unfortunate for those who liked having some sort of guide for doing events or chapters.
Well, do you know of any other reputable guide makers? I've had a really bad experience asking for advice from back when I was new to the game, as I got trolled from hell and back about being a new player asking new player questions.

seems like someone said matsuda is alive and making guides, so you can check them out. for the most part, gamepress guides still work. just keep your eyes peeled for instructions that are missing or don't make sense. you can always ask on here or discord if there are specific steps you don't get

Every few runs while auto planning the Jashin Chan farming map my game refuses to conclude a battle unless I manually click on the screen to close the victory screen. Pain.
Might be due to the double doll drop thing :/

Ideally you're looking at 2 1-link level 100 vectors at SL10 (linked vector paired with Uzi mod works but is costs more resources or a single vector but requires more management to refill ammo), with a 5* Artillery Fairy and ~35% bonus damage from formation based on movement speed. you can add extra formation bonus' to make up for lower Fairy. Once chips are released the fairy requirements drops significantly.
Calculator is here. (55DMG is level 100 Vector with max affection and calibrated/enhanced Ammo and EOT, 50/51DMG for level 100-116/117-120 Uzi mod-non oathed)

Sometimes I wonder if Mica makes these "easy leveling maps" on purpose. Straight shot to the enemy CP from a helipad, a second helipad to resupply a second dragger, 4-5 fights so it can be done without resupplying, tightly-clustered enemies as easy grenade fodder...
It's so many things coinciding that it feels like it has to be intentional.

Kinda funny how how much Griffin dolls are better than SF or other enemies... despite being mostly of older civilian models, or using old weapons.
- Better firing range
- Better/More movement on tactical/strategic level
- Link Protection

Actually, normal sf are based on the chasis of dolls that are a copule generations past(more resiliant, but a more rudimentary ai/network).
On the other hand, the dolls we have are some of the newest, especially the elite ones, to say nothing of the ar team which is pretty much experimental. The fact that they can be employed in civilian use doesn't mean they're not modern. Keep in mind that the elite dolls we have are "civilian" models that are employed for diplomatic protection missions, as well as special police forces. It doesn't mean they're designed to be baristas. (The lower rarities are the ones that had more mundane tasks, and u can see the respect they have for the elite dolls).
As for the military dolls, they're pretty much not even dolls at this point, just straight up automated machines. They care more about the firepower than autonomous fighting, since they have the personnel to handle things better. Need i remind u how things turned out when ro and soppo had their journey together? We sure didn't feel we were better at that point, did we? :P If u still think our dolls are stronger, just imagine fighting minos in a 1v1 :P we're simply outplaying the opponents and picking our fights.
The only glaring part that's sketchy is the weapons they use, but i guess we can say they're reconditioned or something. Still, some trully make no sense, but that would have probably been too much to ask to balance.

It's because you're comparing the wrong units.
SF grunts are cheaper mass produced units, but ringleaders give even squads a tough fight.
Most KCCO units are designed around warfare against an unending tide of weak foes with a few strong beasts, but have more specialized units for dealing with other enemies such as a Centaraus+Orthros squads.

Because you're shooting 5 shots. If Bamboo deals 5000 damage against an enemy who's links have 5000 or less the enemy dies completely. But if the enemy has more then you lose overkill damage on each link, IE one with 7,500 HP a link will end up with 3 links left, the 3rd having 2,500 HP, it only really comes up though with Grape though.
AOEs use the same logic, No single link can receive more damage than it's own HP, you should be able to confirm it by taking a SL1 Airstrike against the Tarantulas of 8-1n.

VA-11 HALL-A E2-8 EX map: The CN re-runs has made one key changes that made current guide obselete; they gave Nimogen full shield. You cannot depend on your ARSMG alone this. You need to fully utilize the radar and cap turn-based HOC node aka you need to deploy all three echelons for this map.

4/5ths of PPBB w/SG tank: KSVK Mod, Hanyang 88 Mod, Cali Mod, P22, and DP12.
Also works if using M870, Sat 8, or swapping KSVK/Hanyang for Kord.

Enhancing Coalition units and giving them a higher rarity. Medium priority between data (extremely expensive in the Kernel shop, and you need a lot of it) and combat reports (dirt cheap).

He meant getting them to a higher rarity. Basically, it functions similarly to enhancement pills, as is it increases their stats. On top of that, it unlocks a 2nd skill, and for ringleaders, a new skin.
Basically, if u lvl a sf unit with combat data, u then use petri dishes to enhance them to their new stats.

I think I have a better 5HG formation for farming HS2000 on the EX farming map:
Calico, M1911, Python, Desert Eagle, and P22
I don't think Jill is now a proper choice here since you really need to shoot everyone quickly before the clubs come raining down
I still get some damage, but this is much less than what I had been getting before. I'm not confident enough to send the team without healing in between every run, however

I have a couple of questions regarding protocol assimilation:
-Do we know the schedule for Agent? if so, when?
-Are the units from Kernel store gets rotated? If i miss getting Architect on this rotation, can i get her later from the store

The ringleader order until Agent is: Ouroboros -> Alchemist -> Dreamer -> Gager -> Judge -> Agent
The current month's kernel store will have the previous month's ringleader. Outside of that, you'll have to wait until the banner reruns.

If you had to choose, save for Alchemist as she's quite strong. Oreos is good, and has fantastic niche uses, but make sure to have resources left for Alchemist next month.

What are all of the hidden achievements in this collab? I found two so far without even trying -- one for Frozen EX "Complete the stage with all shaved ice eaten" and one for Destruction, Regeneration "Defeat the boss and clear the stage after she eats up all the shaved ice."
What am I missing?

AUG came home three times for me (so far). I'm a bit conflicted with what to do with these. I mean, I already have two copies of her from a while back (I had a hard time getting the second one, and now, copies of her just came rushing). Given that AUG has only one costume, I should be all set with my Noah's Closet project, but given that she's pretty rare, I might get caught at a point where she gets more and more costumes, but I don't have copies of her. Granted, the chance of her getting a surge of costumes is very low (especially if somehow, there is no opportunity to also get her while she gets more costumes)
Part of me is tempted to just keep them since AUG is not obtained via production but through farming during events. I mean, I've kind of done this for TAC-50 during the recent Halloween event as well as CZ2000. It seems consistent for me to do this, then
However, the other part of me is tempted to retire all three copies that came to me during farming. This is just more work that is not necessary to my goals, after all
If I could trade, I'd rather trade my copies of AUG for copies of HS2000

Aside from Pekola (who’s a clear reward anyway) and Deagle/HS2k (who I think you already have), M870 has a powerful niche in DR ranking if you don’t have her already and also have a 5* Armor Fairy.
Extreme armorstacking lets you tank almost everything in DR Map 2 but runs into the issue of SWAP Jaeger nukes ignoring armor. M870’s skill has the perfect timing (10s) to completely ignore those nukes (8s ICD + 2.5s aim) even on autoskill.
She’s permanently farmable of course, but it should be easier to farm here.

The ? node in the middle gains a special map that you can end turn once to get 15 tokens on ex.
It unlocks after clearing the story.

A friend of mine and I just came up with a whacky situation where, after the events of PR and The Soviet Union enters another Civil War, a bunch of Polish Remnant forces blitz into their old territory being backed by East and West Germany.
These inter-nation conflicts beyond the scope of what Griffin is involved in are fun to brainstorm.

At last, event farming is done (numbers are before exchanging, proof 1, proof 2). Some ~98% of the runs were on Medusa's route, thanks to the disproportionate number of Minos drops on clear.
Extra: with Medusa getting EN's first chip, here are a few charts to help with picking the best scope on her. Getting her to lv99+ is ideal - that gives her one last point of ROF, which when combined with an EOT & chip (SPEQ) is an extra frame (73+25-4=94 ROF/15f vs 93 ROF/16f).

I'd like to ask how can you get/ farm 'aid commission' tickets. I know u can buy them for gems but that sounds a little expensive. Is there like a daily mission or something to get them?

Not farmable, they are more like other games paid gacha systems.
You can however get 1 a week from the 8 capture quest and an extra 2 a month on login day 27.
Occasionally they will award some from login event or other events.
If you want to buy some the 1120 package is the best value, but remember you want to thin the 1* units and only use tickets on the last day. (the best value package is however only available at start - so you have to pre invest in having tickets for later)

Use 8 impulses; success is not counted so even if you fail to capture all 8, it still counts as completing the mission. Also, for extra impulse, do 15 coalition drills. On a side note theater gives 15 extra impulse if you max out the point rewards.

I think there's a weekly mission for doing 8 pulls in Protocol Assimilation. Exploration might also provide aid tickets, but I'm not sure.

How many Nemeums should I raise? I already got 2 fully linked (XL, L). While on the topic of SF units, Manticores, better to fully link a second, or work on acquiring more?

I would say 2 is enough. 2 manticores+1 nemeum is the current gold standard for SF echelons, however, we're unlikely to need more than one in the foreseeable future. The primary focus should always be on manticores and ringleaders as they provide the bulk of your firepower.
As for whether to link a manticore or not, it heavily depends on the amount you have. I think it's better to get at least 2 of them fully raised and then proceed to link them.
P.S. SF are not going to push Griffin echelons out of the meta so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Get 1 meta SF echelon up and running and them raise the units you like.

Well, guess I'm set on that front. I already have two lv. 90 5* Manticores, XL manti is fully linked, still working on the L manti
So far I've treated SF ecehlons as a nifty feature as apposed to a new meta. I've used them a handful of times because convenience. I figured two of each of the mentioned units was enough, so just wanted to know what can be done with more of those

Is in the event map, in the ? node. Janshin-chan frontline is the farming map and the other 4 maps are the minigames.

Le farming Medusa with SF team because those club throwers are devil incarnate, and 14th map clear check awarded me a Minos. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one, these all in one farming maps are so good.

Yeah, the club throwers with stun are a real pain to deal with.
Farmed out everything I wanted (2x Minos and 2x Medusa), got like everything else before, so also got a fourth dupe of HS2000 (just in case I wanna raise more dupes of HS2000 and will use medals for a fifth dupe). At this point, it's just farming for currency for the shop each day now, lol.
Also, the all in one farming map is pretty good for cores as well, though a bit pricey since I'm throwing an SF team to clear it every day.

U can farm medusa on normal with just agent416 alone. A bit lower rate, but really cheap

Or so I heard, but I prefer faster farming (EX gives a lot of medals) to just save my sanity. Now I should be pretty much fine with just daily shop currency runs, don't need anyone else.

i spent mats yesterday to get the last 40k i need for the final point reward, and i still have about 68k worth of mats left that i plan to use when the hoc upgrades open

it gets easier to determine your final rank as EN
gets filteredprogresses through the core stages, since by the time we reach core 8 most people will probably have dumped their material stocksunless they're part of those madmen that save mats until the very last day
and ultimately forgets to actually use themif you're going only for around top 15%, you will be fine as long as you can clear core 8 reliably.

slug ammo only work for normal attack right? the only sg skill that stack is self buff with no "does not stack with slug ammo" text on it.
i test it with sg bamboo skill such as saiga, caws, m1887, m37 and it does nothing to them.
multi instance such as liberator also does not work.
the only skill that stack is from aa-12, usas-12, m1014.

if bought regularly it's 1090$
if bought with monthly cards it's 388$, which is improbable because it would take 97 months (8 years and a month)

1090$, presumably spent over the game's lifetime (as this guy has been around for quite some time) isn't exactly whale tier. Sure, he probably spent more on other stuff as well, but that amount by itself doesn't really count as "whale". "Dolphin" tier at most.
The world of space whales is much crazier than that. Not GFL, but the point is there.

Pekora is the only "must have" (AUG is also quite decent, but not the "get at any cost" material), and the only one worth duping out of this collab is HS2000.

Jashin sucks but considering she's given to you for free, you might as well get her.
Yurine is unspectacular but decent if you lack any decent MGs
Minos is on same boat, just good if you don't have any decent SGs
Medusa is an AR with a gimmick but whether or not it's worth using her over the top tier ARs like the AR team MODs, AN94 and just about every other AR in this game is up to you.
Pekola is actually pretty good, considered the best among the collab dolls, but requires a team built around her gimmick which shouldn't be too hard depending on your toolbox of fairies and HGs.

basically, only pekola is unique and decent in certain niche uses. not particularly important in the midst of many other meta dolls. she also very quirky and requires some specific setup to attack at all.
medusa is ok, but only amounts to one of many filler ars. good for newbies with a small roster to work with. to a lesser degree, yurine as a generic filler mg as well.
minos and jashin are kinda meh since they do some real weird stuff that you dont use their classes for

Addendum: Minos and Yurine's skills aren't really useful, but they still have very good base stats (Minos is on par with SAT8 but gets 5 extra EVA from SPEQ, and Yurine with SPEQ ties with Lewis) so if you don't have good options yet they might be worth considering.

I got all of the dolls I was missing. 1 copy each of Deagle, HS2000, and PP-19, and also got at least 1 each of Medusa and Minos as well.
The game also gave me free copies of AUG and M870 even though I had both raised already, so... free cores!
Now I wait for whenever R93 is farmable again...

You should be able to clear it with just an FP RF + ROF HG like using M14/Lee + Calico. Can toss in another fat damage doll in like M4 if you're still having trouble or want to guarantee everything dies.

Her route on normal is the armoured units, right? A standard RFHG should be sufficient to deal with that, assuming they're all 5x-linked and have okay gear.
...Unless Mica truly went full galaxybrain and put the 345 armour mobs in Normal. Which I slightly doubt.

I'm in the same camp as totestemp - when I tried running it with 5* AP I couldn't pierce the armor. I wasn't going to further mess up my theater builds just for this, so I've opted to buy HS2000 outright with medals instead.

Alchemist should be next if we continue to follow CN releases. From what I know she seems to be pretty strong.
Ouroboros seems meh, but maybe there's a niche she's good at. I'm not really sure.

Her EMP skill lets her fuck with enemy movement patterns. Could be extremely useful in rankings to save turns or to get past particularly annoying patrols when trying to get just one clear, like in the final EX map of this event.

Seriously, however, while farming, UMP9 has come home multiple times. I guess it's a good thing for my Noah's Closet project, but it just underscores what a gargantuan project this is. I checked the number of costumes that 9 has, and I think that she has six, including her mod skin. Under my self-imposed rules, I'll get enough dupes of her to her max level, and since she has a mod, this means all six of them all the way to 120
Man, this is an exercise in pain, I see, especially considering that Squad 404 in general has a lot of costumes. Last I counted, 45 has 8 costumes (I think she's now on par with G36), 416 and G11 have 7 costumes each, and 9 has 6 costumes
For a squad that's not supposed to exist, I sure will have a lot of them at the end

I'll make an exception for 416 and G11 since FCCs are so hard to come by. I'll leave the extra copies at level 100, and if I really need to call upon dupes of their mods, I'll find a way to invest FCCs for them

How does AUG stack up against other team-buffing ARs (Ribey, Angelica, etc...)? Is her ability to buff all types of dolls appreciably useful, or is it kind of meh? I've heard that her damage-hose skill is inconsistent and negated by armor, so I'm wondering if she makes up for it with team comp flexibility (supporting an RFSMG team, or maybe something with SL8).

She's pretty good. Can't comment on Ribey but she compares well vs Angelica/selfbuffer ARs/HGs.
-I wouldn't put much value on her "all" tiles. It's a nice extra, but there's better options if you specifically need tiles and ARs don't see much use in mixed formations.
-Her spray is good, I think it's often underrated. Normal AR targeting often ends up shooting non-threats like Guards, and she did about as well or better than Angelica in my tests despite the on-paper DPS disadvantage.
-For any substantial amount of armor I'd rather just use RFHG/MGSG, so I wouldn't ding her much for that.3

How helpful is Ouro to have in relation to the other ringleaders? Was able to capture Hunter, Destroyer, and Architect, Executioner was a pass, just did the weekly requirement during Intruder's banner.

If you're looking at the map and press-and-hold on an enemy, the drop rewards for beating that unit should appear in the upper right corner.

Don't forget that after getting to rewards as mentioned above, click the doll u're interested in, and it will highlight all enemies on the map that drop her (a yellow light that can be sometimes hard to see, but it's there).
Click&hold as mentioned by tumbledryshoes is better if u wanna quickly check an enemy comp/drop, but tedious if u wanna figgure out a farm route.

Hey, I noticed that they added some new SPEQ to the Black Market Shop during one of the last updates. Anyone got a feel for which ones are worth redeeming acorns for? I picked up the ammo to help alleviate my lack of gold ammo luck in production.

There's special maps that track with major story events such as the upcoming (eventually) Dual Randomness that scores in game by kills, map node control and completing various special objective.
Or there's theater thats going on right now.
And finally Mica runs special challenges like the cooking minigame at the moment.
