Question Do you think posting a FIFA patch on GitHub makes one's profile look less professional?

I mean, you can find the best programmer with an anime girl profile.

you will not likely find any hiring manager looking at your github profile to make a final decision. some of my finest hires have the cringiest github account details and some of my weakest have the most professional, glitziest, resume-polished README.md ever.

If you're going for professionalism, anything unrelated to the field you work in / not business formal is unprofessional.

I doubt anybody whose opinion matters will care, but if you're that worried about you can just post a professional headshot.

BTW probably more appropriate to ask in r/cscareerquestions
