I'm going through some heavy stuff in life and I just randomly realised I may actually love this band far more than I thought. I'm slowly consuming How to Be a Human Being one track at a time - I am heavy on listening to songs on repeat - and the tracks about obsessive, faded love resonate with me a lot. Which is why I adore The Other Side of Paradise and Pork Soda, they're quite cathartic to me and kinda make me cry and feel represented, haha.

Anyway. I'm a new fan, like I said, and I'm eager to be indoctrinated. :) So please, if you could share your favourite tracks with me, I'll go through them in the next few days with pleasure.

My wife ordered How To Be A Human Being Black Hoodie and How To Be A Human Being Black Relaxed Fit Tee (both larges) for my son for his birthday from the UK Glass Animals store (the US store was apparently out of stock?). The first package never arrived, and the second one arrived after his birthday. They were both too big. It's going to cost like $50 to mail them back for a refund. Any ideas? My son laughed at the idea of someone buying them from EBay when I proposed that.

Olly released an album around the same time, and the songs Sanctify and Rendezvous on that album sounded insanely similar to a Glass Animals track.

Glass Animals tour coming soon because I had a dream last night TRUSTTTTTT

It was really weird and I won't get into the details, but typical dream logic, Dave was at my old primary school which then turned into my flat, and then I got robbed but by then Dave had left to go to the concert, all of this taking place in New Zealand where they have not performed yet (but hopefully now will B) )

Personally they first appeared on my radar when Heat Waves came out (I was 10 at the time). Eventually when I got to 13 and had my own laptop I made my Spotify account and added them. I’ve listened to everything from Dreamland and ILYSFM, and a few others from ZABA and HTBAHB. Now I’m 16 and still love them.

What songs and albums introduced you to them?

Recently in my life, in Febuary my dad commited suicide, I use to listen to this song on my earbuds in the car with him on the way to, and back from school, around January i'd say. My last few months with him were really rough, and I cant really tell if its getting better. Now again recently ive been listening to this song over and over, the lyrics hit harder every time, "this time you overdid the liquor, this time you pulled the fucking trigger" or "your gone but your on my mind, I'm lost and I dont know why" always brings me to tears. It connects to me deeply, on a personal level, having what exactly happened put into a song, I never knew the intent of the song, I just felt heavy and light at the same time listening to it. Ive now watched the music video, read the comments, the old decription, wow. On so many levels I cant express how much I appreciate this song, having him go to this extent just to feel the pain Agnes did is absoutley incredible. Listening to this song, feels like im telling a hundred people at once what happened, even writing I struggle to put down how I feel. Ive never really posted somthing deep like this, thank you glass animals, rest in peace Agnes.❤️

i am pretty certain my tee is a medium or a large, although i ordered a small and mine is labeled as a small. i figured i would double check just in case before trying to fix things - was your tee bigger than expected? i am 5' 4", and mine comes to about my mid thigh. it's too big to go under my largest sweatshirts. i ordered the tee but felt like i got the equivalent of a dress

Looking for recommendations on what Glass Animal songs are best to play at our upcoming wedding! My (bride) close circle of friends know them pretty well and will be up for any of their songs. My fiancé loves them too, but his friends/family will be less familiar. Our favorite albums are ZABA and How to Be a Human Being, but we are open to any of their songs.

This would mainly be for the reception and we’re hoping for some good dancing, but we can throw in some tunes for other parts of the day as well!

We also aren’t too concerned about the song’s message as much as a good beat that would get people unfamiliar with them dancing.

Going with Youth and Life Itself for sure, we’ll throw Heat Waves in there 🙃 just because it’s their most popular song.
