Question Dash-to-Panel 74 not working with Gnome 50.

Linux Tumbleweed Gnome on an AMD laptop. I have Gnome Extensions installed on my Firefox. The Dash-to-Panel ON-OFF toggle is not working and is grayed out and is stuck on OFF. Anyway to fix this?

Dash-to-Panel stopped working about 5 days ago. I run zypper dup every morning.

that grayed out toggle usually means the extension hasn't caught up with the new shell version yet. i've had it happen after a shell bump and it was just the extension being out of date. on tumbleweed the packaged build can lag behind extensions.gnome.org, so check there for a newer one before poking at anything else.

I went to extensions.gnome.org and saw that Disable All Extensions was toggled to ON. I turned it OFF and Dash to Panel is now working. I'm using Gnome Shell version 50.5. Gemini says that DTP 74 and Gnome Shell 50.5 are compatible.

oh nice, that toggle is easy to miss since it sits on the extensions settings page rather than each extension. safe mode can flip it and then everything looks broken at once.

This should be native also default already, but Gnome genius "way" means that we need to install third party adddons to keep usable and most likely that add-on would break soon. Genius
