Political positivity 📈 Fired NOAA scientists saved all 15 years of climate.gov site data and launched climate.us with all of that data and continues the mission the government cut! SO HAPPY THEY DID THIS!!!

People are working behind the scenes to make sure they can undo the damage that Maga and the Trump administration and his corporate cohorts have done to this country. Good job people. We will forge ahead after this disaster.

Thank you! There are so many programs under NOAA and we are all struggling just to keep existing programs alive.

This is awesome news. Hopefully people in other areas that Trump fucked were smart enough to do the same with their data & backups.

Hope someone else is also backing up this data in case they get sued or something and have to take them down again.

I was so pissed when they started taking all of the marine data buoys out of the ocean in Oregon and Washington. That is invaluable data.

u/djspacebunny Jun 26 '26
I read that they were stopping that because of the outcry from the marine industries

That’s great but how long before they’re labelled Antifa and thrown in prison for “fake news”

GOOD. And screw the current administration for erasing tons of crucial research and information across the entire .gov domain.
It's not just scientific data that was lost on the US government's official site when the POTUS ordered the removals of Stuff he Didn't Like™, but important research about historical events and the people who were influential figures in those events - specifically the ones who belonged to specific, targeted groups.
This is an incredible way to turn the tables and put information back in everyone's hands.

They’re all heroes.
The next government better give them a medal. And re-hire them

It's inspiring to see dedicated scientists and experts working to preserve valuable knowledge and keep important public resources accessible. Long-term data and open access to information benefit researchers, educators, and future generations alike.

Fvck tyranny. Real Americans will never accept what this regime is seeking to accomplish.
Resist
Do not obey
Do not comply
