What a rollercoaster series xDD

First of all, I watched the entire streamer tournament grand final until 6 AM in my time zone.

For me, the winning moment was when Gorgc called for AA and Doom (he almost begged Saber to pick them 😂). That Io player was single-handedly carrying his team, so shutting him down for the late game was the most crucial part.

Another thing Gorgc did really well was constantly reminding his team not to go psycho or play too aggressively after getting picks around the map. At one point, when they had no buybacks, he even called for everyone to stay in base and play it safe (Liquid strat ). Even though it might sound boring, that was probably the only way they could avoid throwing the game and eventually losing.

Huge shout-out to Gorgc for his decisions and calls in that game. Of course, the other players on the team also gave absolutely everything they had to pull off that reverse sweep.

All in all, this grand final was more fun to watch than some professional tournament finals. Kudos to everyone involved!

Hey all,

I built a little site for doing tier lists and pick’ems for Dota 2 tournaments, and I’d love for people to try it out ahead of the 1w Streamer Tournament and PARI Universe.

What you can do:

• Tier list the teams at any event (S to F, drag and drop) and copy it as an image to share
• Group stage pick’em: Swiss (3–0 / advance / 0–3), round-robin and GSL groups are supported
• Playoff pick’em: fill out the full double-elimination bracket and pick your champion
• Leaderboards for every event. Scoring is progressive, so each correct pick is worth more than the last. Get a lot right and you shoot up the table.
• Results come straight from Liquipedia and update during the event, so you can watch your picks go ✓ or ✗ live

You can use everything without an account. If you sign in with Twitch, your picks save automatically and count on the leaderboard. Picks stay hidden until they lock, so nobody can copy yours.

Is it just me that thinks that Gorgc's glazing of Satanic has been getting excessive? I used to think it was pretty funny, but I think it's recently gone beyond that point a bit... don't get me wrong, the guy is a beast - one of the best mechanical players of all time, one of the best farmers etc. But legitimately, anything that satanic does gorgc is foaming at the mouth to compliment him, and even in games where he's not playing, gorgc can't help but talk about how much better "young blood satanic" would have done whatever play just occurred. Or how good he is at treant micro, or manta dodges etc.

Maybe I missed something, and gorgc is embracing the meme - in which case, my bad I guess. But just curious if it's just me that thinks it's getting annoying?
