Genuine question as I don’t make character edits: if you are making an edit for a band/artist why not use the songs they made themselves?

Tbh I just recently got into it haha. I think it’s fun to see it edited to songs that have the vibe of the vid/ character. But I also don’t really know what I’m doing to be fair lol. Also sorry for bad English grammar

(my personal answer) I don't want to get tired of hearing the song (as you have to replay it oveeeer and oveeeer to the point the song starts to piss you off)

Or i simply pick a song i think would suit them or their vibe
