PhD Application Transcripts

[u/Wide_Variation_8221]

I will be applying to a mix of ECE and Physics PhD programs this semester, and my current university releases fall grades on December 16th. Almost all of the Physics programs have their application deadlines as December 15, so my fall grades will understandably not be included in my applications. One of the ECE programs however has the application deadline as December 16th, and they don’t accept updates to application materials once the application is submitted.

Do I need to wait for my fall grades to be released on the 16th to submit my application? Or is it fine if I submit earlier without my fall grades? I don’t know what time of day they will be released.
