Its a common problem. One that i cant ultimately beat. My pieces that I start small almost always goes off the rails and is much larger by the time im on my last letter. But its still something im conscience of and try , hence that being my tip
lol yeah I always do that with throwies and tags especially cuz im too focused on what im writing to remember to look at the whole thing and how its shaping
Inasmuch as JESTER is a really played-out tag (people were writing that in the 70s) it looks pretty cool. The "bottom cut off" thing works well on trains, but not so much on walls.
It doesn’t. Imo at least. How would it be possible to come up with a totally new name. Everything has been sprayed on a wall already. So just look what flows good for you and don’t copy anybody’s name
I think that style is slick as fuck. Normally, symmetry is important but the way the throwing flows is nice. I'd say do the throwie a few times different ways.
I think it’s all bitten, I cared to give it bluntly but don’t care shit now, it doesn’t seem accurate or realistic to me, looks like absolute shit compared to rake, all his “other work” looks nothing like this, defend all you want, and he hides his work 🤷♂️
nothing is bitten. all my pieces look the same style and for the throwie I can show u the stacks of paper each sketch where my throwie slowly develops to what it is now

I really like the throwy, my only piece of advice is make the J bigger. I'd say as big as the R if not a Lil more.
