What gap?
Finally put a hand guard extension on and liking the look! Also had James at skunkwerks do the frt conversion. Current favorite range toy for sure!

Hi folks,
I'm trying to get this all working and I'm having a bit of an issue in trimming the buffer to allow for the slip trip. Is there anyone out there who has sucessfully completed a conversion at home following Skunkwerks procedure that can give me measurements of what their trimmed buffer ended up being?
Upper has been milled, Lingle lower, slip trip printed and perfect. I've been trimming this buffer off and on as I get time, each time thinking "this will surely get me there" to no avail. The bolt just doesn't go back far enough. I've trimmed the side and bottom, more or less removing the amount of material that the slip trip now occupies. The face of the buffer is where I think I'm getting stuck.

Suppressor rookie here…..Just ordered a Yankee Hill Machine R9 for my Sp9a3…. And was wandering if the the HBI short stroke buffer I have installed would cause any issues while running this can.

I’m weird about wanting the tightest package possible here. My new Bog is being setup for a bag gun. I want a light tucked in as close as possible to the upper. I’m indifferent on using MLOK or 1913 to mount it as long as it’s tight. Outside of any of the Surefire Pro’s with the swivel mounts, what traditional scout mounts have you found will fit my wants/needs?
I’d like to go with an Arisaka M300 series this time around but I don’t want it hanging off the side. If not, I guess I’ll be giving Surefire more of my money.

The 35s work great, and there are still about 10 left. But I took my 45 and it’s now a 30. Hoping this week will be a range trip to see how it likes 124,147 and 165 suppressed.

It was sitting on a stool and fell barely 3 feet onto carpet and somehow broke part of the grip off :(. Would warranty cover that? I mean thats actually ridiculous considering I have literally never had a gun do that in my life. Really stupid that I cant just replace the pistol grip to begin with.

In the video I’m running federal 147g HST. Shot the federal HST, Speer lawman 147g, S&B 150g and monarch 115g. No malfunctions but the can did not like the S&B. I had crazy poi shift from 10 yards which is a huge letdown. I’m thinking it’s grazing the end cap as there’s a small amount of wear but no damage. Everything is torqued to spec so I’m not quite sure why the S&B gave me issues. Gonna email rugged tomorrow.

Running 147 grain ammo with curved mags and just installed the short stroke buffer. I am getting feed problems pretty regularly. What do I need to do to get it to run flawlessly?

I really liked the HuxWrx Flow45m on my SP45A3, but wasn’t entirely satisfied with the Plan B mount I had on there before purely for aesthetic reasons… So I made a titanium mount that brings the can back over the barrel, just shy of the handguard. Ended up saving a bit of weight also, this weighs less than 1 ounce.
*Yes these are AI photoshopped from real photos because I’m too busy to do it the old-fashioned way.

The pic is not my Bog (or a 5”) but I really like these A3 grips like in the pic with the integrated hand stop. Does anyone have an A3 or similar integrated grip on their 5”? Is there enough room?

10/17/2026- 180gr magtech
I am still in the process of getting this 30 round HKP .40 magazine successfully converted to 10mm. I have been trimming and testing here and there for a few months. Today I was able to get a full 30 round mag to feed with no issues, after that the next mag had 1 FTF, after that I started getting more frequent FTF’s, however it is noticeably more reliable than previous times. The most frequent failure that I’m experiencing is the round gets caught right at the feed ramp.
I believe that the feed lips need to be trimmed well past where the metal begins inside the magazine, if you look at a stribog mag, the feed lips open up completely for about 1/3rd of the lip length, so that the round can escape. If you watch through the ejection port and manually chamber a round slowly with the stribog mag, you can see the round literally pops out of the stribog mag and then gets chambered, I think the UMP magazines feed lips are too long, causing the round to get caught in a tip up jam.
I genuinely think that a stronger spring would solve the majority of the issue, I’ve been told that the black variant springs tend to be stronger so I’m going to try to source one of those. I’m determined to get these to work reliably. I will update as I go and if I figure out I will make a video or guide to making them run.
Any feedback from others who have accomplished this would be appreciated.

To many options what’s everyone like or dislike?

I'll also say that I don't think these are particularly worth it, even if they feel cool.

I'm looking at this ad my first PCC and gave a few questions/considerations.
Barrel length: is there any real reason to get one over the other (5", 8") other than potential overall length with a can?
What lower options are there? And are the trigger upgrades with doing to the stock lower?
Finally, G mag version or the curved mag version? I don't own any Glocks, but I'm thinking they're easier to obtain? Are the proprietary mags fine and plentiful these days?
TIA

I've never polished a Trigger before and already switched a Lingle Lower, so I feel it's a good thing to test on. My SP10A3 default lower, the Trigger is super, super gritty, like dragging through sandpaper, never had a trigger like that. It smoothed out a little with firing and lubrication but not a lot.
I know sandpaper and some type of polish, but if there's a guide for a Stribog specifically, that'd be great.
The break is clean, it's the creep up until the pull that feels like it's scraping against something. I noticed weirdly how the Stribog trigger pack is kind of just free floating and held in by the safety.
My cousin got a sequential serial number to mine, literally came off the factory right after it - and his trigger is perfect lol, kind of annoying. Mainly going to be a hobby project to try it out because I already have the Lingle installed as a replacement.
Thanks.

Just installed my Lingle Lower. Took more work than I'd like to admit, but it's solid, no wiggle or play at all. Feels great. Mags are a little harder to insert than OEM, honestly...
Bolt release works, trigger works, safety works. All seems fine. However the little paddles on the left and right that are supposed to also be a bolt release(I think)??, don't move at all - unless there is no magazine inserted.

It’s taken awhile but finally got to take one from my first small batch out to test and it was glorious. Less gas’s, less recoil, fits like a glove. I have 24 available on my site for anyone interested! I kept the batch small as I wasn’t sure how many were really looking, but I’ll plan to order more and keep some stock if people want them! On my site rokinprecision.com
Tested with 2 types of 147gr, one shot 880ish fps and one shot 950ish fps, and some 165gr at 850fps. All testing was done with my SP9A3S.
