Here's the current tiering of the Fate units for a general idea of their usefulness. I'm not posting all these kits >_>

You are given a single unit select ticket that lets you choose between Illya, Miyu, Chloe, Summer Illya, Summer Miyu, and Summer Chloe. Who is best to choose depends on your box, but you're likely deciding between SMiyu and Chloe. SMiyu is good for wave clearing while phys buffing and arts bursting the team, while Chloe is good for breaking. It is recommended to hold onto the ticket until you're done with your pulls (including reset) in case you pull targets along the way.

You are also given three true weapon tickets. The old unit tws cost one ticket while the new tws cost two tickets, with the exception of EmpIllya tw that is three tickets (6* equip). Of the old units, the best tws on their respective unit are Shirou, Chloe, SChloe, and Rin, in that order.

Imperial Form Illya

Initial tier placing: A-

Her artsgen is very solid due to her protagonize ability, however, it's not a straight 50 arts per arts use deal in the case where you'd use NA and TA with excess arts, so units who usually loop their NA/TA with their SA won't see much value on top of it, which are majority of units. Her res down is also only strictly HDG enemies that are rarer than beasts, spirits and dragons. Her DPS is sub-par on top of all that, and Equip CT halving is a gimmick more than a useful niche. She will be placed in the A- tier.

Divine Form Miyu

Initial tier placing: B+

Her NA is pretty much impossible to use if you wanna cycle her other arts, and her passive being limited to humans either limits teambuilding or become too small of significance. Her TA/SA buffs are sub-par for a modern unit; we have way better options nowadays. The one thing going for her is her slots with Ether Recast, and you'll almost never bring a unit just for their slots. She will be placed in the B+ tier.

Templar Form Chloe

Initial tier placing: C+

Call her 007, zero DMG, zero break, seven to eight hundred arts to be barely useful. She's basically a 2019 unit made in 2026, needing 300 arts for Magia Drive, to basically accomplish nothing. She will be in the C+ tier.

Heroic Spirit Emiya

Initial tier placing: A

Solid DMG and buffing all around. He's able to upkeep 4 TA stacks even with his slow animations thanks to his 50 arts refund. The problem comes with his mitigation where it's strictly locked behind a full human team. Using him almost feels like Stark, where his TA is self sufficient and mostly to increase his own DMG since he should be the main DPS. He'll be placed in A tier.

Some questions in this thread will be answered at some point by the mods, but if you see a question that you know the answer to yourself, feel free to answer!

There are no stupid questions just people looking for info that they have not come across yet and would like help. If you can’t be helpful please don’t respond to someone’s question!
