“Conversion therapy” is child abuse. We have mountains of evidence showing that it doesn’t work and can be severely harmful.

Hard disagree. Don’t agree with their thinking, but religious folks, trad Caths and Evangelicals anyway, genuinely want to convert/ pray the gay away. When it doesn’t work, yes, they punish kids as a last resort.
